Amazing amazing amazing!!! I’m visiting from Buffalo and am checking out the halal food scene in Chicago. At first, I thought the store did not have halal pho, but upon calling I found out that they just started offering zabiha halal pho options and were starting to roll it out so it hadn’t been printed on menu yet. Excitedly, my husband and I came and tried it out that night and it fully made my Chicago trip! We had the chicken pho and beef pho and matcha Mia and summer rolls. The portions are hugeee and the service is astounding. The drinks and appetizers were good. Matthew came by our table and taught us about the different garnishes and made us feel so welcome. The broths were very rich in flavor and the noodles were a perfect bite each time. I am so happy to have had my first pho experience as halal pho is so hard to come by. You can see the care that Matthew and the restaurant put into their food and experience, they were very meticulous in making sure the food is prepared fully halal for the Muslim population.

Totally by coincidence! We weren’t even planning to eat here — just a lucky find.
🍽️ Food Quality:
Surprisingly delicious! Flavors were on point, portions generous, and everything was freshly prepared.
👨👩👦👦 Family Verdict:
Our sons loved it — and that’s saying something. Kid-approved and parent-satisfying.

I ordered pho one of my all-time favorite dishes and placed this order on DoorDash. I had never tried them before, so I was excited to check it out. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. They didn’t include any cilantro, sriracha, or chili sauce, which are essential to a good pho experience. When you order something you love, you expect the quality to be there, and this just didn’t deliver. Overall, the experience was not all that for the price.

Not an authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They use grill chicken for the Chicken Pho instead of boiled chicken. The shrimp and pork vermicelli is very cold, like for to go (while i’m dining).
Tôi khuyên người Việt đừng nên thử. Dở cực!

What a fantastic meal! I ordered chicken Pad Thai for take out and the service was quick! A huge portion of deliciousness that I’ll get to have again tomorrow. I will definitely frequent the Lombard location more often.

Average food, average prices, and average service. Boba is good though. Prolly won’t come back for the food but maybe for the boba. Def. Better options in the area.

Everything about this place just feels right.
If you read the menu, only other location is out of the country. Speaks volumes. If you want good veggies, go here.
They also have a gluten free menu, and lil smoothies, everything is just good as heck.

I recently visited Noodles Pho U and had a pretty good experience overall. The Pad See Ew and Crab Rangoons were delicious—well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also appreciated that they offer a separate halal menu, which is a great convenience for those who need it. However, the halal pho options were a bit lacking. While they do offer halal pho, I found that the selection of meat-based options was somewhat limited. It would be fantastic if they could expand their halal pho menu with more meat choices, as that would really elevate the experience. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a variety of dishes, but I hope they consider improving their halal pho offerings in the future!
Food was good! Clean and huge space. Service was fast

It’s really cool that they have halal options on their menu, however their halal pho is considerably worse than their normal pho. They should be able to make good pho for all audiences.

After recently moving to the Lombard area and craving some Asian food, I decided to try Noodles Pho U after Googling a few local restaurants. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The only positive aspect of my visit was the speed with which I was able to place and pick up my order.
I ordered the pho and a banh mi, but neither lived up to expectations. The pho was bland, lacking the rich and flavorful broth that defines this iconic dish. The banh mi was also a disappointment—overpriced for what it was and far from the authentic taste I grew up enjoying.
Having spent my childhood surrounded by incredible Vietnamese food in Houston, TX, I can confidently say this fell short of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant and would recommend others to explore alternative options if they’re looking for a true taste of Vietnamese flavors.

I really like Noodle Pho U. Everyone in my family likes it as well. It just seems a bit pricey these days, but that's par for the course.
