I’ve enjoyed P.F. Chang’s overseas (especially in Dubai), but the experience in the U.S. has been disappointing. We ordered the Dynamite Shrimp for the second time, hoping for a better experience, but were let down again. The dish seems overly "Americanized" to maximize profit—more batter than shrimp, and the shrimp itself is cut into smaller pieces after cooking rather than served whole. For a $16 appetizer, the portion was underwhelming. If shrimp is expensive, just price it accordingly instead of cutting corners. It was also overly oily, which took away from the flavor. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering this again.
