Hira is an artist! We ordered around 150 macarons and cake pops for our engagement party, and the level of care and detail that went into each baked good was obvious. One of our guests shared that while he wasn't a big fan of desserts, he ate four cake pops! Throughout the event we kept hearing “These are the best cake pops we’ve ever had!” and “Who made these macarons, they’re beautiful!” We can’t thank Hira enough for her expertise and care in fulfilling our order perfectly. I emailed Hira to inquire for an order and didn't hear back. I called 4 days after I sent my inquiry to which she apologized and said she would send over a quote within the hour.... never got a quote or response from her. If you're looking for reliability, this place isn't it. I emailed Cakes by Carlos in Lombard for a quote and got a response back within an hour.

First off, her products have the most unique taste! Many bakers do a wonderful job but the taste is usually not up to the line. However, whether it is her cake pops, her cakes, or her macaroons, everything is scrumptious as true to her business name. We have been asking her to make orders for us as short as a 24 hr notice, and she has done it professionally! Once we asked her for a non dairy cake and she even did that. Thank You Hira for giving us amazing desserts, especially when they come as halal (Kosher).
