This is one of my family favorite places to come to. The restaurant recently expanded and can accommodate bigger families and gatherings! Our fam favorite is the wings, balgogi (and loaded fries) and kalbi! Def worth checking out, especially if you’re coming from out of town!
For take out the bulgogi cup bop is the best in terms of price and quantity
For dine in bulgogi, kalbi and chicken wings
Really nice restaurant atmosphere. The bulgogi was sooooo good.
I have been here a few times and the food is pretty solid. Love their wings, nice heat with some sweetness. Bibimap is good as well and their fried rice with bulgogi is pretty good. Good food overall.
Service on the other hand is garbage, it’s like pulling teeth asking for help here. The guys back there do not want to do any work, I asked for ice in the water and they put in like 5 cubes in the pitcher, no napkins anywhere. Dirty cup with lipstick still on it too, absolutely disgusting.
A 15% service charge is ridiculous when I’m ordering the food myself, getting napkins myself and having to constantly get up to ask the waiter for water or utensils.
They are also cheating our customers if you use the app, if you use Apple Pay on their portal, they’re charging another 10%. Subtotal with 15% tip was $108, it shot up to $121 when I hit apply pay. I asked them and they blamed it on a glitch, trust me there’s no glitch LOL.
Good food, nice atmosphere but service is garbage and needs improvement.
I won’t come back honestly. 15% service charge + Apple Pay is a scam.
- We ordered the cup bop and online it says that it comes with the glass noodles and rice but apparently thats old and not updated and we only get rice with it now. They did not even inform us of this when we were ordering,
When we told them all they did was say sorry, nothing to make up for it or anything. we paid a decent amount and could have ordered something else. Their customer service was terrible.
- The cup they gave us had a lipstick mark on it.
- The area where there are no fans, did not even have the ac on, it was so hot.
Did not have a good experience at all
This restaurant really exceeded every expectation I had. The food as amazing, we ordered Kalbi and the Tteokbokki and it was absolutely amazing. The kalbi is a short rib that soft and come right off the bone and honestly some of the best flavor I’ve had. The Tteokbokki was rice cakes and glass noodles served in a spicy sauce and it was just as good. I would highly recommend this place. Not to mention the service was great & the restaurant was clean.
Omg how am I just now discovering this spot?! And it’s fully halal! Super clean, newly renovated, best mochi. Their yakisoba and ramen to die for. Great service too!
None of the food is delicious,

The food tastes great. The customer service is excellent. I wish they would give bigger portions. The bulgogi and kolbi is $25, $27 but not enough meat. They need to give more meat for that price. They need to lower their prices.

Seoul Bites in Chicago, located in Lombard, offers a different take on Korean one hundred percent halal cuisine. While the flavours were good and the dishes are well prepared, the portions might feel but small considering the price. The soup barely had vegetables/ noodles/ meat. However, the menu has a variety of options that make it worth revisiting to explore for the second experience

Wow great Korean halal experience.
We really liked the wings, Kalbi, and noodles. Overall everything was good. I also really liked the texture of the tabooki but it is spicy just to let you know. For the appetizer we liked the picked reddish and potato salad. They had kimchi but it was a bit bitter. Customer service was good. Seating was good. Would definely be back for the sweet and crunchy wings it was so good.
