We had been looking for halal Korean food for a long time. It’s very hard to find in our city, so we drove 40 minutes to come here because it’s fully halal and our friends recommended it. They said the japchae is very good and similar to our traditional glass noodle salad.

They have a digital menu, so you can order by yourself. But we asked the waiter to take our order because we wanted one dish without salad.

The food is good, and it’s definitely a unique experience, especially as a halal option, which is great to see. That said, the portion sizes feel quite small for the price.

One thing that really disappointed me was the mandatory service charge. Since orders are placed through your phone and you pick up your own drinks, there doesn’t seem to be much actual service involved. Aside from the food being brought to the table, the experience feels closer to fast...

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I’m glad I got to check it out. The banchans were really good and fresh. I tried two of their appetizers and loved them as well - the Korroke was hot and crispy and the vegetable dumplings were yummy as well. The Kalbi was tender and had a lot of flavor to it as well. I’m glad I tried it out and am excited to try more things in the future.
Personally I didn’t like the milk tea - it was too sweet with no visible option to...
