Oh my goodness. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My non-profit group booked a dinner here for our annual awards event. The tables, chairs, and walls were incredibly sticky. The floors were dirty. The appetizers were ok, but a bit unusual. The staff were putting out saltine crackers with the appetizers. They were removing them from the soup packets as they were walking to the table to put them out. What?! The 'food' was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
The dinner-DINNER-was supposed to be a burger bar and chicken sandwich bar for 30 people. They made a tray of homemade chips, two different salads, a tray of brownies, and TWO SANDWICHES-one burger and one chicken sandwich- FOR THIRTY PEOPLE TO SHARE.
I can't make this up. The chef left and can't make food. The chips taste old and oily. The brownies were dry. While the two staff members that were here tried to figure out how to fix the situation, it was not fixed.
What an absolute disappointment.

I had a really disappointing experience here. I asked for a simple glass of water and was met with rudeness and swearing from the bartenders. Completely unprofessional. It wasn't just me, several other customers noticed the same attitude and were talking about how unfriendly the staff were. It’s honestly shocking to see that kind of behavior from people in hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend this place until they seriously address their staff’s behavior.

I had to stop by because I had forgotten my phone and needed it for the metra and the worker Molly was fantastic. She lent me a phone to call my girlfriend and my mom and even offered me a coke for free. (I of course left $5 as a tip for her she was amazing)

Had to run and get lunch... I work on North Ave, I only get 30 minutes so there aren't a lot of options. I stumbled across this place and man oh man did it save my day. Great little neighborhood deli. The sandwich was great and it was all ready before I got there!! Two thumbs up!!
