I generally love this place, however…the last two experiences have been bad:1-Sent back wings that were bland and very tough and fries that were cold. They put the fries back in the fryer.2-Ordered buffalo chicken sandwich (which is usually very good). I waited in line for 15 minutes just to order, they let my food cool rather than tell me it was ready, and the chicken came coated with honey mustard rather than bleu cheese.I’m seeing new counter people and cooks. I will give it one more try and hope this is just a blip on the radar.

Brian the Bartender(Thursdays) is such a gentleman! He's cute, great service, and the food is very much homemade. Went two days in a row. Chicken salad and Italian pasta salad are AMAZING!!!! Probably going tomorrow too!!

Their sandwiches are big enough to split! Great sides too. They have a nice rooftop area and have added a bar with video gaming. Literally right across from the Lombard train station..
Great sandwich! Nice rooftop seating in nice weather. Looking forward to visiting once again!

Unfortunately, they were closed. I don't know if it is a permanent thing but the hours say open Monday. Went on a Monday afternoon and sign said closed. Maybe call before you go. Not sure what is going on.

Everyone is very nice and friendly. Three stars may not be fair since we only had the corned beef sandwich and potato salad. I can't seem to find a real corned beef sandwich anywhere in DuPage County with the exception of Schmaltz Deli. I am from the city and it's important to have real rye bread. I was happy to see it had seeds but the bread was soft and the corned beef very chewy. The potato salad was different and extremely good. I thought I would try their corned beef because someone reviewed as the best they ever had. Everything looks fresh and I will give it another shot with a different type of sandwich. I like what they have done to add to downtown Lombard, but my review on the corned beef remains disappointing.

If they joined the 21st century and had online ordering, I would order more often and give Shannon's a fifth star. Others say the same. I dont have time to wait while they make the food. Do they do curbside? The Boar's Head roast beef is very tasty. The sides are amazing.✌️
