We stopped in Saturday for lunch and what an incredible find. The place is so clean and has a great menu. Rae, the owner, is an absolute joy! She is so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing. We ate way too much because it was so good!We will go back again next time in town. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The food was amazing!! Should have taken pictures but the food was gone as quickly as it hit the table. Everything is plated and brought out fresh. The staff is so courteous and they really make you feel at home! The vibe is great and laid back. Highly recommend the Beach Feast. **Also for any Chicago natives they actually make mild sauce correctly :)

Chicken was BURNT didn’t even try to use enough sauce to distinguish the burnt ness… then when I called about the chicken being burnt… the guy tells me the grease needs to be changed so it’s frying quicker than usual then offered to remake my order …WITH THE SAME BURNT GREASE ??♂️??♂️ I don’t recommend this joint

It's a hit I had the fried lobster 10 out of 10 my mom had cheesy grits with shrimp also 10 out of 10 thank you guys for the greatly priced seafood you will be seeing me often !! Also 10 out if 10 stars for how clean the place was thanks for that i know it's hard to find employees In theese times and you guys keep the place so spotless we appreciate your hard work it doesn't go unnoticed !

Great food, IF you take it to go. The food absolutely gets 5 stars across the board. It was delicious and worth every penny. Look at the picture, we ate just about everything.That being said, the 2 stars is an average between the food and the "service" we were hoping to receive. We ordered the Beach Feast. It's a $69 meal. Because you have to pay in advance there is a prompt to leave a tip. Expecting decent service, based on the reviews, I added 20 percent to the bill ($15.79). I wish I could get that money back. The only utensils we were given was a plastic fork and the cracker for the claws. Seriously? We had 1lb of crab legs and 2 lobster tails, how are you expecting people to eat that with what was given. This was after we waited 5 minutes after the food came and had to ask for the utensils, plates, our drinks and the butter (each item was a separate trip because apparently it wasn't reasonable to get everything you pay for all at once). Lastly, you might ask if napkins were available. We still don't know. After all that we had gone through, I just went to my van grabbed a roll of paper towels and we used that. Even then, Chris the cashier, never batted an eye.I'm not saying don't eat here, just don't dine in there.

I heard about Surf’s Up months ago, but I always forgot to stop since it’s not centrally located to my home. I am so glad that I finally stopped in. I ordered The Bomb, Crab Leg Plate, chicken tenders, and wings. The Bomb was hands down my favorite followed closely by the Crab Leg Plate. I enjoyed the different sauces that were generously offered for a taste test by the staff. The staff made excellent suggestions for a first timer, and they were more than willing to go above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

I came here for the first time in the middle of June 2021. I was a bit put off by the prices but said what the heck, you only live once. My friend got the shrimp and lobster combo, I got the catfish combo, and my daughter got the kids grilled cheese combo. IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!! The fish is amazing, the lobster even better. The fish is so clean and tastes so good. Just to give you an idea of just how good, my 5 year old daughter who is the pickiest eater tried a piece of my catfish and stole a whole piece from me because it was so good. If I could give this place 10 or even 20 stars I would. If you love seafood, you need to add this place to your favorites, you will not regret it!

Tried for the first time today and oh man it did not disappoint! We got 1lb of fried shrimp, 6 piece Hennessy wings, dirty rice and collard greens. The fried shrimp was cooked to absolute perfection and the breading was excellent. Being a southern girl and proud of my own collards I make,I was anxious to try them here and man oh man they were amazing! Not too soft and excellent twist with turkey. The dirty rice was amazing too. We contemplated driving back as we got it to go juat to tell them how amazing it was. Have not tried the wings yet, saving as a snack later, but I can only imagine them being amazing too, will update! Also can't wait to go back and try more menu items, specifically the beach fest, saw it being prepared and it looked so hood.
