Surf's Up Yorktown

Perfectly seasoned and freshly made but the fish was not deboned and that made it difficult to eat (not a huge deal: the shrimp and chicken made up for it in the lunch deal).

I've had Surf up at other locations and the food was good. I was disappointed in Surf's up YorktownThe wings and shrimp taste like they were fried in old grease and the fries were not the homemade fries I was used to eating. The fries were frozen from a bag. The shrimp was not jumbo. They were more like regular shrimp..

I ordered 10 wings with fries and was told to come back 15 minutes to pick up my order. I came back 20 minutes later and the food wasn't ready. There was no line, no one waiting. It took them 1 hour to give me my food. No apology, didn't even say thank you. Service means a lot to me. I enjoyed my last order of food from here. Please work on customer service. There were 2 employees working.

The catfish was fried perfectly and greens were delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered the fried lobster po boy, red potatoes with corn, mac and cheese, fried biscuits, and shrimp corn chowder. I was told that their biscuits would taste better than Cinnabon. That was 100% accurate. Everything was tasty. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the portion size. It seems a bit small for what you're paying for, despite everything being tasty. Just a bit on the small side.

Bug was in my shrimp had to throw out and the chicken I asked for buffalo received regular chicken wings and they were horrible. Ewe will not go back to this place.

Some of the best shrimp i’ve had. My bf is not a big seafood fan but he loves the food here. Definitely went above expectations. Gentlemen who took my order was also very helpful and nice. Will definitely be back

The lady was very nice, she acknowledged us and made sure we were okay with food. We ordered the fried lobster dinner its was A+ on seasoning I just wish theres was slight more lobster. Other than that good experience to try some tasty lobster

I am highly upset with Surfs Up today in Yorktown! I ordered 20 wings at 1:52 and was told there was a large catering ordering which was a lie. Then was told that Dwight the owner just dropped off chicken wings at maybe 2pm. Here it is 2:30 and the chicken is still not ready. I have attempted 3 times to support this business, but not again! I guess I will keep Sarku as my menu! Also please season the CHICKEN.

This location is in the Yorktown Mall food court. My lobster and shrimp combo came out hot and fresh, was very nicely seasoned, and was way more delicious than I had expected from a mall food court. I would absolutely come here again and recommend it to others. Another customer in line told me that this restaurant originated in Maywood and recently expanded to Lombard. I’m so excited to be able to support local Chicago business in this way. Plus, the lady at the register was really friendly and energetic. Thanks for a great meal!
