Tropical Smoothie is spectacular. Absolute classic to get after a nice lift, very convenient being right next to La Fitness. Sweet, with great protein source, I have put so many people onto here as it is fabulous.

For the most part, tropical Café has been great, I live in Batavia so I usually go to the Geneva location or Montgomery. I work out near Lombard and I just found this location on Monday night. They made my drink and it wasn’t full like it normally is. I drove off and was on the highway for about 15 minutes and decided to take a sip out of it, the orange juice used in the sunrise Sunset smoothie almost taste as if it was expired. I called back to see if I can get it remade, and the young lady told me it would be no issue. I advised the young lady I more than likely would go in the next day or on Friday since it was Christmas week. Friday, December 26 I called in ahead of time so they can start making the smoothie and this guy answered and I explained his situation. He then tells me they can’t make the smoothie because they will need the old one in return and because it’s been over a day they just can’t make me another one . His demeanor and lack of Understanding and Customer Service was quite off putting and I would not go back because of that. It doesn’t take much to listen and resolve a customers concern. Worst experience I’ve had in quite a while.

The smoothies are great, but I never feel welcomed here. I'm rarely greeted or acknowledged when ordering. I've been here many times over the past few years, and the customer has never changed.

We were standing waiting for our order to be placed with no greeting or kindness. However, once a Caucasian man walked in right behind us the same associate that ignored us greeted him very warmly. There is an importance to making sure each customer feels welcomed no matter what they look like. Very disappointed to say the least.

Came in a lot last week because of the Fan Fest Deal🤩‼️Food & smoothies are delicious but a female on Saturday or Sunday (can’t remember) was working all by herself, huge line, and I had to wait 10 minutes just to be told my online order was on the shelf, I didn’t see the sign! The female worker was kind and engaging with customers while balancing orders, why have someone working alone?? Felt bad. I don’t write reviews but I came in again this morning and same young girl working alone!! Get more staff so customers can have a better and quicker experience. Kudos to the young staff though!

The detox island green literally had no flavor at all. Door dash had a buy 1 get 1 free detox green and I only received one.
My first and last time ordering from there. Ill get it from a supermarket instead.

Sad to be writing this cuz I love tropical smoothie… but this location is filled with lazy kids who never have the food prepared… half the time the bowls are not on the “menu” because they didn’t prep the fruit…. NOT MY PROBLEM DO YOUR JOB!!! Then when ever I ask for extra toppings they NEVER put them but yet I’m charged?! RIP OFF!!!! And then they all walk around with an attitude problem every single KID that works there…. I WILL BE GOING TO BONITA BOWLS from now on… WHAT A RIP OFF OF A PLACE
The place was empty two girls working no one greeted us. One spilled my smoothie and didn’t apologize. She still served it to me. They were laughing and talking amongst themselves showing each other things on their cell phones.
