Sadly, Uncle Julio's food quality is not what it used to be. I appreciate we we're seated prior to our reservation time however our dinner was absolutely disgusting & gave my boyfriend is food poison. We went for Sweetest Day & I'm sure he'll never forget about this date. He was sick for 3 days, tries contacting restaurant & was placed on hold for 20 minutes just so call can be disconnected. I was so disappointed because I spoken so highly of Uncle Julio's, never again!!+

Don't go there hoping to get a good margarita because they lost their liquor license. The only good thing was the chips...how sad. The salsa barely had any flavor. The ground beef had no spice. The chicken in the enchilada was boiled and had some sauce barely mixed in. The beans were not typical refried beans and were sitting in what looked like murky pond water and definitely tasted like it. The rice was minced up and was not actual grains of rice, which means it was probably old and kept getting heated and reheated and mixed up since it was all broken down. I get that it's a chain restaurant, but the food had absolutely no authentic Mexican flavor at all.

Menu is more limited and service is pleasant but much slower than it used to be. There used to be a lot of healthier options especially with appetizers, like ceviche. Steak fajitas are still great but every else has changed. Drinks and portion sizes have changed and not as good as it used to be. No more black beans. Atmosphere is not as lively as before. Overall, it’s not the UncleJulios we looked forward to!

6 people received their lunch, the 7th person didn't get their lunch until 20 minutes later. No apologies waiter just dropped the plate in front on him and left. I order a salad it had old brown lettuce.

The order came wrong. We were charged for steak, but received chicken. Also, we ordered the fajitas for two, and the order was actually the size of a regular portion of fajitas for 1 person you get at any other Mexican restaurant.
Poor service. Very overpriced. We will not return.

We visited Uncle Julio’s at 9pm on a Friday. The restaurant was nearly empty, and happy hour was bar-only, which required us to order inside to sit outside. My cousin ordered four Amaretto Stone Sours, which we believed were included in happy hour pricing, but they were not. When I politely asked our server, Abdulla, if anything could be done, he kindly checked with the manager, Val.

Unfortunately, Val came out with little enthusiasm and immediately dismissed the concern. While I understood the drinks technically weren’t part of happy hour, there was no effort to provide alternatives, show understanding, or attempt to make the experience more positive. She simply walked away, leaving a poor impression of management and customer care.

Abdulla, however, was outstanding. He apologized for her demeanor and went out of his way to provide a small gift card with our bill. His professionalism and courtesy were very much a contrast to Val’s lack of effort.

Gave this place another try. Quality of food has gotten worse. They used to have the best beans and rice. Beans and rice now were awful. Chicken Enchiladas were dry Nothing great. Would have been a little easier to eat if they put sauce on them. Server was good when he listened. Otherwise had to ask for things 2 or 3 times. Would have been nice if they told us they have a Happy Hour & Lunch menu ??
