Blu Fig Café is an absolute gem in Long Grove! The breakfast is amazing, the coffee is always fresh and perfectly made, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. My favorite order is the egg, bacon, and bagel—it’s always delicious and made just right.
Friendly staff, great quality food, and a place I always enjoy coming back to. Highly recommend for a perfect breakfast and coffee stop! ☕🥯✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is truly the #1 place to get Coffee in Illinois !
Blue Fig is an amazing cozy cafe with delicious food & coffee!
I had a wonderful visit to Blu Fig Cafe — a charming little coffee shop right in downtown Long Grove with a warm, inviting European-style vibe. The moment you walk in (or sit outside by the creek), you feel welcomed by friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for chatting with a friend or working on your laptop.
The menu has a great variety of breakfast and lunch options — from fresh bagels and sandwiches to creative specialty items like avocado toast and the Plant Power sandwich — all made with high-quality, flavorful ingredients. The freshly baked croissants and pastries are delightful too.
Their coffee and drinks are outstanding, especially if you like unique flavors like lavender coffee or a smooth mocha. You can tell they take pride in every cup. The service is friendly and attentive, and everything feels homemade with care.
The only thing is that it can get busy on weekend mornings because it’s such a local favorite, but the vibe and quality make it totally worth the visit and the wait. Highly recommend stopping by for a great coffee and bite! ☕🥐

Food was awesome. We had the dilluxe, croissant, and avocado toast. Super light and delicious croissant! 🥐
Recommended dishes: Avocado Toast, Dilluxe Croissant
Very nice and cozy. I ordered an avocado toast and my husband ordered The Club sandwich. It was the tastiest sandwiches we ever had outside, the portion was very generous. The decaf Cappuccino and the Latte we had was excellent, my husband is very picky about his coffee.
We will definitely come back here and recommend it to our friends.

The inside was nicely decorated. This place is very cute but they over charged us and we aren’t sure on what exactly. I put all the stuff I got into the online cart after leaving to check what we should have paid. We were charged $35 for one sandwhich and 2 coffees but the online store shows it should have only been $25 (including tax). I don’t know where the extra $10 charge came from and we weren’t given a receipt. I liked the sandwhich, it was larger than expected. My coffee was tasteless though, and my husband said the same thing. I got a mocha brevé and he got the Dubai chocolate latte. He ended up throwing his out. We will not be returning.

Blu Fig Cafe is a great little spot in Long Grove. It’s small, cozy, and the perfect place for breakfast or a casual bite. I had their lox and bagel, and it was delicious — fresh and full of flavor. We sat inside, and the atmosphere was perfect: comfortable, relaxed, and inviting. Overall, it’s just a really nice café with good food and a,at vibe. I’d definitely come back.
