We hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Broken Earth and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The venue itself is charming, memorable, and in such a great location. From the very beginning, Karen was so responsive and accommodating, making the planning process easy and stress-free. On the day of the event, the service was excellent—Bella was truly outstanding and went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The wine selection was also a highlight and loved by our guests. Overall, it was a wonderful celebration, and I would definitely hold another event at Broken Earth in the future.
We recently hosted a party for 100 guests at Broken Earth Winery, and it was hands down the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. Working with Karen and her team was truly outstanding — she made the entire planning process so easy, smooth, and completely stress-free. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality made everything come together perfectly. Our guests were raving about the venue, the wine, and how much fun they had! We can’t thank the team at Broken Earth enough. We’ll definitely be coming back regularly for wine tastings — and without a doubt, we’ll be hosting future parties here again. Highly, highly recommend!
This place is outstanding! I can’t say enough about the staff and the wine❤️!
I held a private event there for 50 people and the service was exceptional! Highly recommend the Broken Earth😍
If you are considering hosting a party or event at Broken Earth, the answer is YES! My fiancé and I hosted our engagement party here over the weekend, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our guests were amazed by how beautiful the venue is, and even more impressed by the incredible staff.
Karen and her team were outstanding—helpful, caring, and attentive every step of the way. From assisting with setup before the event, to checking in throughout the evening, ensuring drinks were full, the space remained spotless, and the food was perfect, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right.
We feel so fortunate to have had such a wonderful team supporting us. Thank you to everyone at Broken Earth for making our night so special. We can’t wait to be back again soon! :)
We had our wedding at Broken Earth Winery and could not be happier. The space is warm, elegant, and romantic—exactly the intimate vibe we wanted. Our ~70 guests loved the cozy ambiance, beautiful wood + wine-barrel accents, and of course the delicious wines. We heard all night how charming the venue felt and how smoothly everything flowed.
If you’re looking for a beautiful winery setting with truly thoughtful support, choose Broken Earth Winery—and ask for Karen. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more.
Very nice venue. The staff was not very engaging. For a winery, we kind of expect to learn about the wines offered or asked if we were interested in taking any wine home. We visit dozens of wineries in multiple states every year. The wines we sampled lacked flavor or depth. We personally believe there are better choices in the area.
Karen and her team did an amazing job for our private event! They were very helpful and made sure every guest was taken care of!!! Thanks so much Broken Earth!
Greg is the men! We came in an hour before closing and he let us enjoy and not to rush even if they were closing soon, his customer service and attention was a 10 star service. Thank you Greg!!
Great customer service and the vibe is chill.
I have to say that I'm very disappointed about a few things at Broken Earth. It seems like when we go there and it is not that busy, they are willing to offer samples of wines, but when they are busy, as they were yesterday, we were told by a young male bartender, they don't offer samples. We have been going here for about 12 years, and we have purchased bottles previously, and we have enjoyed most of the wines they offer. They have also previously been super nice, and from what we both remember, always offered samples of wines, but we were never there when it was busy, like yesterday. I picked a Vermentino wine, which we are fairly certain was priced at $11.00 a glass. I gave the male bartender $12.00 and we went outside to listen to the music, since we were only planning on having one drink. A few minutes after seating outside, I was approached by a woman who asked if I had the Vermentino wine, I said yes, and she said it was $12.00, and I owed 1 more dollar. Knowing that I did give $12.00, I decided not to debate the issue, and I still gave 2 more dollars, thinking that I was now giving a higher tip. I just couldn't believe that someone would hunt someone down for, and demand 1 more dollar, unless the bartender pocketed some dollars. I finally checked my receipt which showed there was .96 cents tax, which was never mentioned to me by either employee. We were both highly surprised because we have enjoyed the wine, the atmosphere, and the employees we've met over the years. Unfortunately, due to this experience we had yesterday, we are going to heavily consider if we are ever going to go back, due to the unrealistic treatment, and experience we had.

Broken Earth Winery is truly a gem. I recently hosted a thank-you dinner for my school board here, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Karen was incredibly helpful—she guided us in selecting the perfect wines for the evening, suggested great catering options, and took care of all the little details that often go unnoticed but make a big difference.
The private room was beautiful and spacious, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for our larger group. The night was filled with laughter, excellent service, and, of course, delicious wine.
I highly recommend Broken Earth Winery—not just for hosting special gatherings, but also as a great spot to enjoy a quality glass of wine.
Broken Earth winery hosted my corporate event last night. Karen and her staff made all my guests extremely welcome. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the variety of the wines served. I look forward to hosting another event at Broken Earth.
Broken Earth Winery Long Grove graciously accepted host my wife's 30th birthday party and our friends and family. They were so helpful throughout the process, providing us with recommendations for local food vendors and a lovely wine tasting in preparation for the event. The day of the party went so smoothly because of the staff attentiveness and attention to detail - my wife and guests had an unforgettably fun afternoon! Thank you!
We had a fabulous time at BEW! Karen (one of the owners) was welcoming and a joy to talk with. Atmosphere was lively and even tho a festival was going on and they were busy, Karen and her staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. We will definitely be back!
My wife came across this Winery via Groupon and I must say it was very beautiful with a great atmosphere and customer service. The wine pairings were awesome and we truly enjoyed our visit. We will be back.
