Broken Earth Winery Long Grove

Just went to Broken Earth for Trivia Night and it was the best night! The staff (Karen and Lisa) were the sweetest! The trivia host Brad was an absolute riot. We will definitely be coming back to this gem of a place!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Karen was soooo informative about the wines and helped guide us in the right direction. She was so friendly and made us feel right at home! We will be back!

Great atmosphere, great wine and staff is wonderful!

Broken Earth is a GEM in the heart of Long Grove! It's our go to place when we want to listen to live music and enjoy some amazing wines. We just hosted our son's engagement party and Karen is absolutely the best hostess & small event coordinator. She made all of our friends & family feel at home. Service was outstanding! The private room is just stunning & tastefully decorated. It's a beautiful venue for a private party or just hang out with my hubby!

I threw my husband a birthday party at Broken Earth a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't have asked for more! Karen and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing! From providing great ideas on food, wine, the room itself, I could enjoy myself and not have to worry about the little things that night. Karen in particular made the night so special by literally helping to set up the decorations on her own! Anyone looking for a beautiful room to throw a party with an attentive and warm staff ?! Seriously, look no further! I'm only bummed I didn't know about this place earlier.

This place is terrific. Great atmosphere and all the staff are great. Saw Pino Farina do a solo acoustic jam, the place was jumping.

We are truly grateful to Broken Earth's team for having a memorable celebration for our family! We had Karen and Karin help us. They're both personable and so easy to work with!

- Karen helped us in the party planning. Karen is patient and responsive. Had awesome recommendations for wine selection, gave an outstanding referral for Lisa who created charcuterie board and other apps. Karen answered all our questions all along.
- Karin was our coordinator on the day of the party. Karin is absolutely wonderful, and all our guests felt welcomed! Karin was on top of her game all evening, and lovely to work with. It was a perfect and memorable evening for our friends and family.

This is a great little venue in Long Grove and well worth a visit. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I've been here twice this year. Once in February when we saw some live music and celebrated a friend's birthday. We were able to bring in some treats and ordered the snacks that they provide. If you're looking for a more substantial meal, you can order from some local establishments. They have some really great wines (or so said our group - I'm not a really big wine drinker), so I ordered a hard seltzer. They introduced me to Fresca Mixed (which is awesome), but they also have cocktails and can mix for you any kind of drink (within reason).

There are a bunch of tables of varying sizes inside and they can handle parties as well.

The second time I went was again with a group, but this time we were outside at a table that didn't quite fit us. However, when another table opened up, they were very accommodating in letting us use it for the food we ordered from a local pizzeria. On this occasion, we saw a good band and enjoyed the nice weather, had some good drinks, and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely return.

We have always enjoyed going to Broken Earth for the great wines, good variety, wonderful, attentive staff, and the ambience. This past weekend my husband had a small, private party there for my birthday (it was a surprise). It was a terrific event! Great space, wines, set up, charcuterie, he told me the planning of it all was well organized thanks to Karen, and again the attention we received during the event was excellent! Thank you, Karen and Broken Earth, for making it such a special day!

My Husband hosted my 50th birthday at Broken Earth on Saturday and what an amazing celebration it was!! Karen, Jackie, Bella and Johnny were fantastic!! The venue was so much fun! The wine was fantastic! So blessed to be able have have all of my family and friends together to celebrate!! Thank you Broken Earth for treating me like a princess!!

We are frequent customers here and have even attended special wine pairing/dinner events. We usually have great customer service and a great time except for the other week. We were enjoying a bottle of wine (and just ordered a second) when we were asked if we could move to other seating because a “group of six” came in that apparently couldn’t be seated anywhere else other than where we were sitting. Our options were to move to a more crowded and louder part of the winery, where we couldn’t hear ourselves talk, or outside where it was cool and damp. Nothing was even offered to us for being asked to give up our seating.

Can't say enough about this amazing place! We hosted a private party for our friends and family and people are still raving about how spectacular it was. The entire staff was so present to make sure all of our guests had the best time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

PERFECT COZY NEIGHBORHOOD GEM. We would give Broken Earth Winery more than 5 stars if we could!! We love this place so much so that we chose to have our wedding there last week (and got engaged at BEW last year)! All of our guests commented on what a cool venue it was for a wedding. The space was transformed and the staff were amazing—Karen (along with Lisa and Susie) did an incredible job running the whole event. The staff in general are all wonderful—friendly, always welcoming, and attentive. We love being part of the BEW family, spending at least one evening a week there.. Highly highly recommend BEW for a cozy night out or for a special event!
