Ava is such a great hostess and very attentive as well as friendly. From being welcomed to answering my questions, it was a very pleasant experience that I expect from a cute little winery. The snacks are tasty (herb and garlic cheese spread and crackers), and the wine flight was perfect for an afternoon break. The venue seems warm and comfortable, and one feels like they can stay here for hours. We love this place and are so glad we stumbled on it during a Sunday escape. I would highly recommend coming to try the wine and snacks.

We had our daughter’s 40 th birthday party at Broken Earth last night, what a wonderful evening! Most of the guests had never been there, but let me tell you, they will all return. We started planning the party about a year ago with the help of Karen. Karen was amazing from the planning through the night of the party. Always making sure our glasses were full. The space we had the party was beautiful and spacious. So glad we chose Broken Earth for this memorable occasion. Thank you

If you like live music, ambiance, and good beverages, then you will love Broken Earth because they feature these all seasons of the year, indoor or outdoor. It is also a great space to host an event, party, reception, etc. The food options that I have experienced tend to be nibbles, more of a bite to go along with your beverage, think charcuterie, crackers and cheese, etc. It is a lovely space and place that should be on your hit list if you find yourself in Long Grove. Our son proposed to his girlfriend last night in Long Grove and then brought her over to Broken Earth Winery for a surprise party with 35 family and friends. The party room(s) were absolutely beautiful and cozy. There were 2 fireplaces going, comfortable couches and chairs along with tables for eating. There were tiny red and white lights strung across the ceiling which added to the ambiance. There was a beautiful wine bar set up but guests were also able to order other alcohol and soft drinks. Buffet tables were set up for catered food (we ordered delicious appetizer trays from The Chatterbox nearby). Karen, the winery owner, was wonderful and kept our glasses filled. Everyone commented on what a beautiful place it was. We will definitely be holding other events here.

They have some really good wines, but the service was severely lacking. She spent most of the time on her phone away from the customers. Couldn't answer simple questions about the wines. Definitely stop here, but understand you're on your own in terms of learning about the wine and waiting for service. We were prepared to buy a case but ended up only getting a bottle.

Our family has made a LongGrove Broken Earth Winery party an essential part of our day after Thanksgiving celebration for over 5 years now. The service is outstanding. The newly renovated space is so elegant yet cozy. I allegedly host this party for my family every year but my role is effortless. Karen and her staff anticipate our every need including assisting with perfect coordination of the catering buffet services in addition to our favorite Broken Earth beverages. We had a wonderful time at Broken Earth Winery! Our team wanted a winery experience for our summer work gathering in August, and Karen made it super easy to plan an awesome event! Their wines are top-notch and they have a wide selection--all from their winery in Paso Robles, CA. Food can be brought in and most of the nearby restaurants will deliver. We would consider the venue again to host another event or just to stop by and have a lovely glass of wine!

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's 40th birthday at Broken Earth Winery with her and 30 of her girlfriends. The venue and people at Broken Earth exceeded our expectations. The service and coordination (provided by Karen and Karin) was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to assist. The ambiance of the winery is truly fantastic. They have a spacious indoor and outdoor environment that is very inviting. Broken Earth offers a diverse selection of wine which are delicious. This place is a hidden gem and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great experience or looking for a place to celebrate any occasion.

What a gorgeous venue with excellent service and attention to detail. We hosted our daughters bridal shower there this weekend. Karen was SUPER attentive to all our guests and made sure the delicious wine was flowing. I am so glad we chose this place for our party. 10/10 would recommend! We have also been there on weekends with live music and Thursdays for trivia with Brad. Definitely one of our favorite places to chill and relax. ❤️?
