Went there for my friend birthday last month.
Pretty little place for lunch or tea. Delicious sandwiches, salads, soups, scones and of course tea. Our hostess was amazing, very friendly, helpful and always available for us. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the near future.

Gerri and her staff absolutely are amazing! Thank you so much for making today's tea experience a great one for the girls and my wife. Both Silvia and Sonia were incredible to my family treating us as if we were family.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary! It was a smash hit and success with us. Perfect atmosphere for families with small children looking for a special "Disney Princess" type of vibe ;)

It's a lovely and elegant place for tea and a memorable experience. Staff were great! (Sonia was our server/hostess) The interior here is gorgeous with all the decor, dishes, etc. There's a lot of attention to detail here. The food is delicious and art to the eyes. The tea was perfect. We enjoyed every part of our experience here. We recommend to anyone who can afford it. Thank you!

Celebrated my grand daughter's 16th bday here. We were welcomed as we entered and lead to a beautiful table with flowers fine china silverware and more. The two dining rooms were beautiful with multiple chandeliers, antiques, elaborately set tables. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the four course traditional tea service. Our server, Sylvia was a delight and kept our tea cups full of hot delicious tea. I highly recommend you visit for a most memorable experience. We got to meet Gerri and will visit again in the future. I was surprised and delighted tax on meal was less than most other towns and no service fees charges for using my debit card. Parking in front and larger lot just west of bldg next door. Full menu on website. Do not miss adding this beautiful place on your bucket list.

We booked both rooms to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a bunch of friends and family and had an amazing time. Miranda was so easy to work with and Gerri made it special for everyone. Even the uncles, fathers, and guy friends got into dressing up! The champagne service and food selection were excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Vegetarian options: The soups, asparagus, cucumber, and salad options were all vegetarian friendly without special requests

Parking: There were some spots up front and a big parking lot behind. Very easy to park for our 40 people

Kid-friendliness: The kids with us were well behave. The young girls enjoyed the doll decorations

I have been bringing my nieces here for the last 12 years and we always receive warm and friendly service from Gerri and Sonia. All of the sweets and savories are freshly prepared on-site and are delicious. The service is on real china and silver, and there is an assortment of tea hats to choose from. The ambiance is lovely with classical music playing softly in the background, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Long Grove which is known for its quaint shops and covered bridge. We always look forward to High Tea with Gerri!

I was at Tea with Gerri on 8/2/24 with four of my friends. We totally enjoyed the experience. Great good, ambiance and service, Our server was so attentive and friendly. We would go back again.

Worst high tea ever experienced. Nothing was explained. Seemed to be run by high school kids. Six overcrowded chairs at a table that should have been set for two. Never greeted when we came in, just told where to sit.

Enjoyed the ambiance of the place but the food was just average. Would have liked to have a choice of tea and tea pots at the table so we didn't have to keep asking for more tea. Does not compete will the high teas available in downtown Chicago.

I had called and scheduled a party of 4 for our Mother's 99th birthday. I clearly told them when I made the reservation that it was for her 99th birthday.

There was one other table of 6 also celebrating a birthday. There were no other people in the restaurant.

The waitress brought out all of our food at one time. It was a small table and no room to move anything. The soup was delicious. The scones were very good. The sandwiches were pretty standard. All of the desserts were exceptionally sweet!

The other table was served their soup and scones. When they were done with that course they were served the sandwiches. When they were done with their sandwiches they were then served the dessert course. And a tiny piece of cake was brought out to the birthday person at that table.

The waitress did check back with us several times to see if we needed anything. No birthday cake was brought out to our mother. I did ask why she did not receive a piece of cake. The waitress brought out a piece of cake that was big enough to hold the candle. (I do believe the other person got the same size.)

But we were definitely treated like second class patrons. All of our food was dumped on the table. which was so disappointing for such a special occasion. We were all very disappointed!!

It was just ok. Only one tea was offered no choice in the food served.
