We sort of fell upon Joanie's when we went to the Strawberry Festival in Long Grove and it was the star attraction for all of us!!! My husband and I had the most delicious salad that we completely devoured in record time along with that mouthwatering cheesy pizza that we ordered along with it!!! Disappointed. Joanie's was always so good. This visit they've changed the menu and cut out some favorites. The service was extremely slow and they didn't check back to make sure things were ok or if we needed anything else. Food was still very good and came out nice and hot.
The fried chicken is outstanding. It isn't greasy nor dry. It's consistently delicious. Their potatoes are spot on. If you want pizza, theirs is always good. Even their gluten free is good and so is the cauliflower crust pizza is a winner.
