This purchase was quite a disappointment. We purchased and attempted this apple on 10/4. Unfortunately, it was mushy and visibly spoiled so it went straight to the trash. I won’t make this mistake again.

March 3, 2023:.Suburban celebrations are dressing up for spring and maybe for Ears and Tails that broke off of a chocolate mold Bunny.You can find holy candy for your favorite nun at this candy store.And don't forget the Rabbi you'll see during Passover or your family at the Seder meal.Happy grasshoppers. They may get jealous from the bunnies getting all the attention.

A nice little shop to duck into and be surprised at the array of treats you can browse through. My Papi bought a bottle of apple cider he could make at home and enjoyed using it during that fall. There are also a few seating chairs if you feel the need to just sit down and enjoy what treat and/or drink you choose to induge in.

Avoid this place at all costs! The owner is a trump racist. When I was in the store I heard him saying that the pandemic was fake news and if Biden won the election he wouldn't be happy. He was talking to another customer saying how anyone that disagreed with trump was an idiot "snowflake." Not once did he even greet me or my wife or even ask if we needed help finding anything. He was too concerned with his propaganda. Not to mention the popcorn was stale, chocolate was nasty and cheap tasting. Most definitely old! No wonder why the store was completely empty when we walked in. Horrible business

The atmosphere is wonderful in this place. And the chocolate dipped strawberries I purchase made my girlfriend fall in love with me. She's even saving the ribbon and box. Definitely going back sometime.

The chocolates here are decent but way overpriced--particularly the chocolate strawberries. If you decide to try them, definitely stock up on some napkins before you do--they get sticky and messy really fast.

What a kind welcome! Loved it. Go on a Sunday afternoon and if they have chocolate covered strawberries left they might be on discount as they are closed on Mondays. I bought a couple and placed them in the fridge at home before I ate them...delicious. For the best doughnuts ever they are here in the candy shop. I think they are cider doughnuts...wow...so fresh and yummy.I also bought some gifts.This place is quaint with positive and inspiring signs placed around the shop. There is another reviewer who said that there were inappropriate signs yet there were none at all, so I am not sure if they got this place mixed up with another shop in the area? My only question is..."Is this place accessible for people in wheelchairs or who walk with a walker, or who can not handle steps?" There might be another entrance I am not familiar with.Finally to the owners...congrats...love your place. I recommend that you reply to Yelp reviews as it will help show your engagement with your customers and give you a voice to respond to feedback you receive. I have seen other places do this and it is helpful for me to see how an owner responds before I go to a business. Also, if there is a fake review you can get in touch with Yelp and they will remove it for you. For this visit I was in Long Grove and just walked in and didn't check reviews ahead of time.Very nice experience and I will be back again if in the area.
