The people that work there are very nice.The server was very attentive.The place is clean.. The food leaves a lot to be desired!! The BBQ ribs taste boiled with alot of generic BBQ sauce. No smoke flavor at all. The corn bread is mushy, the baked beans were ok, and the brisket was meh... even the french onion soup was subpar. My son ordered the chicken mushroom pasta and it was dry and flavorless... OVERALL, nice place but food was very disappointing.

The hubby and I stopped by on game day, drawn in by the aroma of smoked meat coming from the smoker outside. Surprisingly, the parking lot was nearly empty—and so was the bar inside. We grabbed seats at the bar, where only two other guests were seated. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The bartender seemed more focused on chatting with the other couple than acknowledging us. When she finally did, she walked away again before taking our order.

We asked for simple, two-ingredient drinks and menus. The drinks were small and underwhelming, and the laminated menus were sticky and splattered—clearly not cleaned between uses.
As we looked around, we couldn’t help but notice the smudged glass doors and windows, which only added to the overall unclean feeling of the place. If this grime is customer facing, what kind of stuff is going on in places we can't see?

We decided to cut our visit short and not order food. Even paying the tab took longer than it should. We are not sure why, but it looked as though the bartender was struggling with the register—so add faulty equipment or untrained staff to the mix.

Unfortunately, despite the promising smell of BBQ, the experience inside was disappointing—from the service to the cleanliness—this place was just gross.

Like going to a rustic lodge with a great country feeling.

Horrendous service, tiny drinks at the bar, bartender left and came back 3 times and finally asked what we wanted. Food menus were gross, windows everywhere had prints all over them. There was next to nobody here, we should not have wanted to walk out in 5 minutes. Ridiculous.

Very bad experience. The server was slow. It wasn’t busy. The food was AWFUL. And lukewarm. My sandwich appeared microwaved and the lettuce was brown. My husbands smoked meatloaf looked and tasted awful. Nothing about this meal was okay except we were hungry so we ate some. Don’t waste your time.

Good food, good atmosphere

Came here on a rainy night to see a band w friends. Band canceled at last minute due to the weather. Ordered a brisket sandwich which was large and tasty. Due to all the BBQ sauce I needed a bit more Iced tea so I requested a refill. Most place do that with out charge, however full price of $4 was charged for the second one. Didn't like that. Also noticed a $2 upcharge to sub tater tots for the fries. Om the menu they are both the same price. It's bad enough that sandwiches that used to be $12 to !5 now are now $20 or more. Certainly don't need the nickel and diming with these upcharges which was probably why the place was fairly empty. Next place I went to was packed.

Food is great, never had a bad meal. Staff is awesome. I have Corvette meetings there once a month and the waiter remembers me and knows what I want to drink and eat.

Overall very good food, the waitress was new so still learning, but I had to ask her to come check on me a little less often, especially since she kept asking, "How are you holding up, still working on that?" Like, what?? Bad enough, but every 10 minutes?

An awful experience. Had to wait to be seen and seated even though they were not busy. Hostess was curt and rolled eyes and asked if we had a reservation, which we did, but obviously not needed. Once seated waited and waited for service, no water provided. Finally ordered drinks which never came, so we left and went on to another place. Restaurant was a bit tired and very smokey and hot. A/C not working? Won’t be back, very disappointing. Really wanted to try the food but it wasn’t to be.
