I’ve eaten here many times and it remains the best pulled pork or brisket sandwich for me. The meat is never dry. The brioche bun is always fresh and the fries are just yummy. The sauce has a balanced flavor not too much of any seasoning.
The restaurant is clean and has an excellent noise level allowing you to enjoy a conversation at your table. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Their patio is our summer favorite and sometimes there’s entertainment.
Here is what clinched their 5 star rating for me. I placed a to-go order through DoorDash but when I got home I received the wrong item. I was super excited to enjoy my favorite brisket sandwich but admittedly, hangry when I called to see what happened. Tom (manager) delivered the correct order with a small chocolate sundae surprise for dessert. No messing around. THIS was so impressive and I knew that if he did this to correct a small human error problem, think what he would do for other problems and that is how you become a successful restaurant.

We recently had Woodfire Tavern deliver late-night pizza to our son's wedding. We worked with George and Tom and they were super accommodating!! They had just spent the week cleaning up from a terrible storm that left them closed for a few days, but they still delivered! And the pizza.... it was amazing! So many guests asked where it was from... I'd highly recommmend WoodfireTavern!! Thank you George and Tom!!!

The music was 22 decimals above what it should be and I like Rock music so it was WAY TO LOUD ! ! !
Guy that seated us was of zero help.
Food was dried out and not worth it.
I give this place a couple more months and it could be closed once again.

Nothing really stood out, bar area and patio is nice. Tried the sagnaki which was good. Bang bang shrimp wasn't the traditional style, more like a Caribbean Jerk. The brisket platter was dry, baked beans and corn tasted like they came out of a can. And for a place that says they smoke everything in house, you should take pride in your Brisket.

Food was amazing! We got texas fries that i 10/10 recommend getting if you want to share with someone. My favorite things from the smokehouse combo platter was definitely the ribs and hot links. The environment was great and again food was delicious im excited to come back!!!

Have had issues with this restaurant since before this current owners. If you’re considering ordering from Woodfire Tavern via DoorDash, I would strongly advise against it based on our recent experiences. We've ordered from them twice, and on both occasions, my girlfriend did not receive her order. Specifically, the Texas Twinkies we were excited about then but, never made it to us. It's incredibly frustrating to have this happen repeatedly, especially when you're looking forward to a meal. It raises concerns about their consistency and reliability in executing orders. I’d be interested in knowing their overall success rate with deliveries because our experience has been far from satisfactory. The first time they replaced her order with an order of the Texas Fries the were uneatable and again not what was ordered. Please consider ordering from somewhere else.
