Only giving 3 stars due to the food being actually pretty good. We had the steak sandwich and smoked brisket grilled cheese. We came here on a Sunday as the website advertises "kids eat free on sunday." No other asterisks excluding anything. I was told walking in that kids eat free with an adult entree order. At the end of my $120 meal, I saw that my son's meal wasn't free. After I asked, they told me the adult entree had to be from a specific dinner entree portion of the menu. Well, its 1:30pm, im not ordering dinner, and why did you tell me his meal would be free?? Server didn't even look into getting it taken off the bill as it was clearly not communicated properly. Be better folks! Honestly I can look past alot, even slow service if the food is good. But I won't come back as this felt like a bait and switch.

BBQ Chicken pizza very good, pulled pork Platter so tasty, Sandwiches fresh, and drinks were fair price. Wait staff very easy going. Nice place in the neighborhood!!

I'd like to break this review into two; 1). the restaurant and 2). The bar. We got in for a Saturday for dinner. Must say, the smoked prime rib...awesome! More smoked items should be on the menu. Smoked meats, of that quality, leads a unique dish! The ribs were over-sauced and could have been better. #2- the bar. We wandered in when hearing live music. Nice people sitting along the rail and service was tops. We tried specialty drinks which did not disappoint. We enjoyed the fun end to our visit and would rate the bar higher.

Ate here tonight with the golf buddies. The hostess was very nice, the waitress very attentive and the food was outstanding. I'm not sure I ever ate a better plate of beef. The owner asked how everything was when we left. Hurry over here for dinner. No I wasn't paid for this it was that good.Parking: 100 spots?

I finally got to stop by this restaurant in its newest reincarnation- the tuna avocado tower is what I was dying to try and it absolutely rocked!!!!! I also tried the French onion soup which in Long Grove normally has apples and this was just awesome!!!!! The service was great. The atmosphere was great and I would definitely check this out if you were even thinking about it cause it's just awesome!!!! This one's definitely gonna be on the repeat list!

Food was average Service was less than expected Comfortable and nice place We were there at lunch midweek so probably wasn't the peak time for service yet the food missed the mark Prices were higher than expected but it may be just a reflection of the economic inflation

Server was very kind and attentive, however I came for the food and it was mediocre at best.
Very disappointed. We ordered ribs and chicken expecting them to have a wood fire taste. They did not very disappointed. They were cooked in an oven and fornever came close to Woodfire. Other time here wasn't for food.

Spectacular Service, Food not Quite. This is a restaurant that I wanted to really enjoy. The service here is over the top brilliant. The folks that work here really enjoy it, which is a credit to management, but also the enthusiasm for their customers. If you want to be treated well - this is the place. The food on the other hand is a bit off. IMHO - they are having an identity crisis. Pizza, BBQ, and Chops? Pick one or two - but all three are leaving the majority of the dishes less than ideal. In my life, I have only sent back one other dish in the vast number of restaurants I have frequented. This is the 2nd. And Salmon - which should be a no-brainer. I suspect their vendor for seafood is selling them tier 4 product as it is in general of poor quality (or seemingly just not fresh). I am happy to be wrong and perhaps it was an off night - There are many places to dine in the area and if you want to enjoy top notch service while gambling on your food - this is your place. Wish them the best.

Only place open late night near us. My wife was craving pretzels. Ordered two burgers and pretzels. Wife was not thrilled sith pretzels but my patty melt was pretty good. Lots of grilled onions.

I feel like giving a 3 here is generous. The food is fine but we've given this place a lot of shots since it's local and close to home. But We've been here at least five times and every single time the service has been very poor not enough people to staff the restaurant, the prices keep increasing, (which is understandable, but when ordering the calamari we barely got anything on the plate. We will not be going back :(
