Our group of friends paid for a tour of the vineyard, when we arrived it was drizzling, but it suddenly stopped. We sat in a table, watched a video and listened to the owner (Valentino) tell us a story about his beginnings and how he makes his wine which was fine, and very interesting but it was over 1 hour and half just sitting down, watching a video and listening to him, no tour of anything whatsoever. I went there few weeks ago and witnessed a committed perfectionist who indeed puts his love into this land. He inherited the old Italian way to produce the wine from his Italian parents/grandparents. I truly respect his way to use natural pesticides, and that effort does reflects on the quality.The winery tour wasn’t fancy at all compared to other places you can find in this country.
