Not my favorite place, but my wife like Beef-A-Roo.

Took over 16 minutes to get a three-piece chicken strip a chicken wrap and a medium fry after I finally walked over to the counter and saw my chicken sitting in the back, waiting to be made into the wrap. The guy behind the counter angrily walked over and made my wrap Then handed me my food without even saying sorry for the wait or anything it’s official beef a roo has officially sold out and the food and quality of service has went with it !

The food was decent, double cheeseburger was super greasy though, and the dessert andes mints were half melted 🫤. We didn't go through the entire dining room but there a few tables that needed cleaning.

I’m a local and this was always the go to place. Well, NOT anymore. RUDE cashier, filthy drink station and tables, and cold food.

I'm going to be completely honest. I had to buy a suit for my nephew because he's a big fan of soups. I've never spent $6 on a nasty soup especially for any kind of soup. I've never spent that much for that. I should have had him wait and I was going to make him a better tasting soup than this trash. Beef a roo literally needs to just close down. With $6 I can feed my whole family. When I make my soups I will not come back here nor would I recommend this place.

Hamburger was paper thin and crispy like a potato chip. My son couldn’t even bite into the grilled cheese the brought was so tough. Highly disappointed.
Came in on New Year’s Day to pick up 2 DoorDash orders and I approached the manager stating such she rolls her eyes and walks away. DoorDash drivers are completing paying customers already placed orders. Teach your managers such. Both orders were canceled because of her lack of communication and me waiting over 10 minutes because she prioritized other orders and wanted to treat me disrespectfully. If the manager has an issue with DoorDash drivers doing there jobs for the customers she needs to take that up with HER management. She began getting an attitude when DoorDash was called in front of customers and speaking about it with other employees and yelled at me as I walked out the door in front of customers. So disrespectful and distasteful.

Time: 11:45 am on Wednesday, December 11th. The person taking my order and the orders of people that I was with, didn't seem like she cared if we were there or not. Smile! The only reason you are employed is because of the customers. 2 stars
We waited about 5 minutes for 2 roast beef sandwiches and 1 fry, plus 2 drinks. Since we waited 5 minutes, the food should have been hot and fresh. And I am not complaining about waiting, but the food wasn't hot and the fries were old. AT 11:45AM! 1 star
I will give credit for a clean restaurant and restroom - 5 stars

So, I left them a 3 star review on their own website because it took 14 minutes to make me a big beef and large cheddar fry while I was eating. Halfway through the fry I found a mystery item. Being grossed out, I brought everything to the front. The manager had an absolute pathetic response. "all righty" "okay". No apology. She did offer a new fry, but i was past the point of wanting any more food from them. Aghast, I started to leave. Then, finally, the manager offered a refund.

Beefaroo Pittsburg, Please train your staff better. We waited 35 minutes after placing our order to get our food, 2 burgers and 2 fries. Meanwhile, another gentleman ordered shortly after us and received his food first. And, also, an employee ordered after her shift ended, and received her food first. I understand there were drive thru people as well, but we should not have had to wait so long, as it seemed well staffed. Secondly, I really did not want to hear who appeared to be the manager tell a staff member to change gloves every half hour to hour, as he was touching utensils....🤢. P.S. The food was okay. I did enjoy my sweet potato waffle fries. Hubby's onion rings were a bit overdone, but not too bad. Anyone that has known me for any length of time knows I have worked in food service for 15+ years, so I didn't say this to be mean or spiteful. I say this as constructive criticism so improvements may be made. Have a very Merry Christmas!!
Cheeseburger was cold. Brought it up and asked for it to be remade. They microwaved it. Fries were cold. Crap service and food.
