Fiesta Cancun Authentic

This place is ridiculous. I used to eat here all the time and support this restaurant and then I went there the other day for a carryout and they charge me. A dollar to go added on my bill I asked them what this was for and they told me that’s what they charge for a carryout and then I told them I’m supporting your business. I leave a good tip when I’m here and then you’re charging me one dollar for me to pick it up. I would never give this place my business again and they didn’t even tell me and then after I paid, I looked at my receipt terrible customer service. I eat out at a lot of restaurants and they never charge a dollar for a pick up. Added to your bill

My experience at Fiesta Cancun Authentic was extremely disappointing. I ordered a specific dish, but something completely different was brought to my table.

When I explained that this was not what I ordered, the response I got was simply “this is what we have.” No apology, no effort to correct the mistake, and no alternative solution offered. That is not acceptable customer service.

A restaurant should respect the customer’s order. If an item is not available, it should be communicated clearly before ordering, not after the food arrives. The way this situation was handled showed a lack of professionalism and concern for customer satisfaction.

Because of this experience, I would not recommend this place and I do not plan on returning.

Disappointing experience

Unfortunately, my experience at Fiesta Cancun Authentic was not good. While the staff were polite, there was a serious issue with my order. I clearly ordered one dish, but a completely different item was brought to my table.

When I pointed this out, instead of fixing the mistake, I was told “this is what we have,” which is not acceptable. If a customer orders something specific, they should receive exactly what they ordered or at least be offered a proper solution.

The food itself was okay, but situations like this ruin the overall experience. Customer satisfaction should come first. I expected better handling of a simple mistake.

Sabine the manager should be retrained or something because he cant even manage his staff. He tells the customer the food is in the bag when some servers take out said food. So the take out order is missing food. The food here isn't cheap either. They failed to try to make things right when they mess up.

Doesn't care about what the customers order. People use the last of their money to get food that woulda been used better else where. Server Miguel is the main issue why my order is always messed up.

I ordered for pick up. Food was ready before I got there. Our meal was delicious!

I ordered chicken soup over the phone had to repeat my order 3 times, then asked if I could pay over the phone 3 times the man said should be ready in 15 mins after I’ve asked to pay over the phone. Gave him my card number then asked me to re read the card number to him again. I finally got so upset I hung up. I asked for fresh jalapeños and didn’t get them my lid to my soup broke inside my soup so my soup spilled all in My bag ruined my chips and tortillas. Fishing for plastic my all time favorite thing to do. I’ll go to the other location this one is a joke. Never again!

This is the third horrible experience I had at this restaurant. I placed an order over the phone for a quesadilla which usually comes with bacon, and chicken or beef. I told the person on the phone I didn’t want any meat, instead I wanted refried beans placed inside. I picked up my order and came home to find bacon in my quesadilla. I called the restaurant back and told them and the owner (Mariana) said that it was my fault for not saying it was supposed to be a veggie quesadilla. She asked me to bring the order back so I can get a new quesadilla. When I went back, she gave me the new order and started arguing with me saying that I should have said veggie. What does NO MEAT mean? Meat of any kind, I don’t want it. Doesn’t matter if it’s bacon, chicken, or beef. She didn’t want to admit her mistake and just keep arguing with me about it. I gave the bacon quesadilla back to her and she didn’t even bother to look at it. What was the point of bringing it back then? This is the third time they have did this. Every other person I order with understands NO MEAT means NO MEAT of any kind and the owner herself doesn’t. I think that’s a problem. I do NOT recommend eating here. The customer service can go down the drain and the owner (Mariana) was extremely rude.

The waitress took forever to bring everything and also kept forgetting things. I asked for a side of sour cream and by the time she brought it the food was almost gone. Asked for a refill of soda and the she forgot so I asked again and this time for my husbands too since he was finished and she only brought one and I had to ask once again for the other one. She didn’t check on us during the meal at all. The kids meal chicken nuggets and fries were awful my two year old wouldn’t even eat it. Fries were over cooked and tasted like the were made with dirty oil. Over all bad experience. I would not recommend this place.

The food is awful. Bland, tortilla falls apart. The people that work there are extremely rude and nasty. I would rather eat Taco Bell any day. Don't waste your money!

Update, i went in and out was packed, i needed a table for 2. I asked if i needed to put my name on a list, the lady said no. Less than a minute later a man comes in asks for a table for 2 and is seated immediately.

The service is excellent, best I've had anywhere in a while.. The quesabirria was better than I've had anywhere in the country.

Great Mexican food with a lot of choices and good service. One of my favorite spots in Rockford.
