I usually go to the location in south Rouckford on state street. We decided to order to this location not knowing this is a chain restarant. My mistake, I pre ordered online two hours in advance. I arrived 15 minutes late and I still waited ten minutes for my food, no big deal right...things happen. What made me comment is when I got home, two orders were missing, the sushi we ordered had minimal fish but packed with cucumber, which is used as a filler. The rolls were basically vegetarian....very disappointed. I hate to leave a poor review but this was a $80 dinner that was not good. The location on state street has never done this.

Always get the sushi, absolutely always consistent. My son loves avocados, so I tried the avocado salad for him. He was less than impressed with the mainly brown avocados we received.. presentation is key ❤️

I tried this place when I moved out here right after the pandemic hit and it was amazing!! Everything was this absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately that has changed. The last few times I have ordered from them the protein Use and their roles are significantly less than what they used to be. When I called to ask about it , they claimed they are using the same portions they always have. I call BS. I remember being able to actually taste shrimp in this shrimp tempora instead of nothing but cucumber and breading. Same goes for my favorite, the California roll. Just almost no protein. So much cucumber. I'll try to post pics

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received. I have never in my 19 years of living wrote a single bad review on anything. The first lady I talked to was super rude to me and had a terrible attitude. She then connected me with a guy who had an even worse attitude and was so mean. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. (i personally never escalated any of the conversation and was very respectful. I also don’t appreciate being lied to because at first when i called less than 3 mins later i was told my order was “marinating” which i asked them not to do before making my order. so if that’s half way through 2 poke bowls than yes. But in no world does it take that short of time to make 2 poke bowls when you have multiple other orders before mine. I was also told on multiple different occasions that I was wrong about my order details..what happened to the customer is always right?

This place is horrible- I placed an order online with them and when I arrived for it they said they never got my order. I then showed them proof that I had in fact placed and paid for my order and when I asked for a refund they denied it and later on denied me getting my food made when I started getting upset with them. Staff was very rude and unprofessional overall and I never got my 40$ back or my food

Was told not to come back because I got a refill. Food was decent and It took forever. However the girls working at the front desk were rude and they up charge for everything. Needless to say I won’t be coming back because I’m not welcomed.
