Liz just absolutely knocked it out of the park! My daughter’s wedding cake was SO GOOD! We received so inquiry’s on who made the cake, perfectly flavored (almond) with raspberry filling and so beautiful. She also did 50 assorted cupcakes and not a single one was left. Her prices are also very fair. Would 100% recommend.

Liz was great to work with she made the cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s wedding including delivery and set up. Everything was beautiful and the cake was delicious we had chocolate,vanilla and banana cupcakes all with buttercream icing AND it was all made without any dairy, eggs or nuts (since the bride is allergic). She even made the cookies for her shower party. I will definitely recommend this bake shop.

This bakery was my wedding cake lifesaver! I ordered a cake months ago through another bakery, long story short, they did not get my payment by check through the mail… I called to confirm pick up time the Wednesday before my Friday wedding, and they advised me that they did not have my order. I had no cake for cutting and pictures. I called Halo Bakery , spoke to Liz. She was divine! She squeezed me in to her schedule, and our cake turned out better than I asked! ALSO— with 1 million things going on, I completely forgot to delegate someone to go get the cake at 2 o’clock on Friday.. I realize this at 5:40, right before we were about to be announced at our reception, and then cut the cake. One of our guests called as he sped to the Bakery and ask them if he could still pick it up. They stayed open a little after close so we can pick it up and no one knew anything went wrong. Liz did call my phone, but I was not by my phone at all the whole day. THANK YOU LIZ FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS! I’m going above and beyond for the best day of my life. I wish I could give us Bakery 1 more than just five stars. They were so kind, and did excellent work. Our cake was delicious! On top of being gorgeous! I would recommend this bakery to anyone, and I will be using them in the future. I seriously can’t thank you guys enough.

Her work is amazing but unfortunately her attitude does not match her work. I was inquiring about having a cake made for my daughter’s birthday. She told me that she doesn’t do Monday and Tuesdays which was fine, I was on the phone a little hesitant about how flexible I can be to her schedule. And very rudely I was told to go look somewhere else. It seemed unprofessional and just flat out inconsiderate, CONSIDERING I was trying to work around her. Sure enough, I will take my business somewhere else, someone with a better attitude at that. Thank you for doing me a favor.

I desperately wanted cake pops for my wedding and I could not find anyone in the Rockford area to do this, until I found Halo Bakeshop. Liz makes a fantastic cake pop and was so great to work with! I asked her for a cake made out of cake pops and she creatively designed a new stand to help me realize my vision. I was so happy with how everything turned out. I also sampled some of her cupcakes and they were delicious as well!
We did a birthday party for my mother's 90th this year. Liz was so wonderful to work with and help me figure out all the treats we had. It's been a month since the party and I still get remarks at how good her cakes and desserts were. Thank you Liz!! I will see you soon!!

I ordered my daughters 21st birthday cake and spent about an hour designing with owner. She was so great to work with!! We had 3 tiers and each one was a different flavor! The cake and frosting tasted amazing!! Everything we wanted was perfect!! The cake was beyond expectations!! My daughter was beyond happy with her cake.
Everyone at the party was in awe of the cake!! Thank you so much for helping in making her 21st so special. We will now be getting all of our cakes made at Halo!!!
