All right, my girlfriend and I went to kbq tonight for our first visit. We were immediately greeted by cheerful music, bright colors, wonderful ambiance, and pleasant service. Anthony took wonderful care of us, explaining how the process with the hot pot works, and recommending his favorite dishes. Not a single thing about our dining experience which wasn't exemplary, and we will definitely be asking for him when we return next time. Thank you!

Stumbled across this place and WOW! never had kbbq before and both my wife and I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. They deliver real Korean style taste and dishes. Without us really disliking a single thing. If you dine in, you grill your own food which brings forth a real fun atmosphere and makes the food taste that much better. Bring a big appetite!

KBQ has quickly become one of, if not my most favorite restaurants, food is absolutely wonderful, whether you're cooking it yourself, or buying a cooked to order meal. Staff is generally very nice, and provides friendly and prompt service. My personal favorite is definitely the jeyuk bokkuem.

We had a nice first time experience. Tried some things we’ve never had. Also got to cook our own food which was also cool & fun. Kid friendly. We will definitely visit again.
The food was pretty good. The wait time was 30 minutes since we didnt reserve. Well worth the wait. Only reason for 4 stars and not five. Our grill kept turning off.

Really great Kbbq and a rare gem out here around Rockford! Food was a bit salty but generous portions and good seasoning. The tofu stew was awesome and packed with tofu. Seafood pancake was. A hit too. Quality of the meats for the combo 3 could have been better but will not complain given the prices. Service was really great too
Me and my friends had a great time coming here for dinner! 3 of us shared the kbq special combo 1 and were stuffed with the amount of food we got.

I love the plates they have and the free sides that come with your experience. I had the bibimbap with rice, it had alot of veggies and some bulgogi, which is somewhat healthy. The tokbokki is also very food but heavy and very spicy! If you stop by make sure to get a something from their alcoholic drinks menu!
