Mexicana here :)
WOW. I cannot express how amazing our meal was!
First, the chips are made in-house and the salsa (while not spicy) had so much flavor!
We ordered: flautas dinner, 2 pambasos, 1 taco al pastor, agua de jamaica, and 2 glass bottled sodas.
Flautas: crunchy delicious and fully filled. Too many places fill them halfway nowadays, but not here! The rice was DIVINE, fluffy deep flavor delish. Avocados were great and it was a good sized serving.
Pambazos: THANK GOD I finally found a place that ACTUALLY makes a good and authentic pambazo. I love these so I'm super picky! The salsa used was so flavorful and not spicy. The bread did NOT fall apart and was so airy and HUGE. The chorizo was not greasy at all. The bread was NOT soggy.
Taco: al pastor. It came with pineapple... FINALLY an actual authentic al pastor taco. It was very yummy
The agua fresca - jamaica: not overly sweet thank goodness.
Overall cost: not too expensive and 1000000000%+ worth it.
Finally found a legitimately authentic Mexican restaurant I will come to religiously!

Just moved from out of state and after trying a couple of mexican restaurants in this area I can gladly say this one is the best in flavor . Im mexican and I can tell when their rice is super nice and flavorful . Their chips are the best all around honestly , not all restaurants cook their chips from actual tortillas like in here. Their Horchata is amazing you can tell is home made and they give you a big glass . And they also have the biggest tortas around .

We came here on a Friday for lunch, we work construction and dont have a lot of time, there was nobody there. The lady at the counter told us to have a seat and forgot about us. I really wanted to try the food but had to leave because we have to work.

The michelada was delicious, very good flavor. The burrito de carne asada was huge and very good as well (I took the burrito to go). The inside is very nicely decorated, the mural is a nice touch.

Ordered on a Sunday, not a soul in the restaurant. Some of the worst Mexican food I've had, I didn't eat half, just threw it away.
The food here is very good!!!!!!! A bit pricey but the quality is there!! The staff was on point and kept up with service!! Will definitely be back to try sushi next time. My Red snapper was cooked to perfection!!! They don't hold back on the seafood 😁!! Drinks were good and they have drink specials
!! Cinco de Mayo was a hit!! I will definitely be back!!❤️❤️

Food is always amazing and very clean inside. The employees are friendly
Phenomenal food. Some of the best tripa tacos and menudo I've had in Rockford. Everything was fresh and service was wonderful, this is going to become our ideal spot for Mexican food now.

We can’t help ourselves from going here once a week at least. Anything is cause for celebration and an excuse to come eat here.
The atmosphere is relaxing, the walls have so much to look at in the best way, it’s genuinely so artistic and happy. The music is always great. A good amount of windows and parking. Their bathroom is nice and clean always.
Their hours are perfect, on the weekends they’re reliably open until the early hours of morning and just what we need after a late night event.
Their food is delicious, and their plating is beyond gorgeous. It’s so good, my buds and I will get 1 to 2 entrees when we go eat there and look forward to having leftovers later. Their prices are fair and the portions are filling. The servers are very kind here, we always look forward to our visit and feel well taken care of.
Sometimes when they get overrun with grub hub orders, the wait can be a little long to be served- but they’re definitely worth the wait. And there are vegetarian options, but not many and I do wish there were more, but they’re very accommodating where they can be.
Best local restaurant we’ve ever known.

Fun place to go looking for treasures. This is the Eclectic Elephant. I don't know why it's being called a restaurant.
Delicious food definitely going back!
