Excellent service! I love this place, the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful. The employees are very friendly and that makes this place very good for family meals. I definitely recommend it!

My family and I wanted some Mexican food on a Saturday night and I got word that this place has good Mexican food so my wife and I decided to give this place a try with the kiddos. The place was empty when we came inside and the music that was playing had me thinking I was in the nightclub but the artwork inside is beautiful. We sat ourselves and were greeted by a very friendly waitress I ordered some tacos and gorditas my wife had the quesabirria tacos with a side of rice and beans. For being the only people there the food took longer than expected we waited more than 30 minutes but the waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. The food finally came and the plate presentation was nice the overall flavor of the food was ok not worth the high prices the beans tasted like canned beans and the gorditas had beans inside The kids enjoyed their burgers and fries the horchata was good and the tacos were ok nothing special. I’m sorry to say this but theres better Mexican food in town for lesser the price but I’m glad I tried this place but I won’t be coming here again.

Started going when it was known as Mi Gordito, usually late at night on the weekends, cause there's not much to eat late at night when one is up at 2 in the morning. Recently, they have changed their interior decor and their menu. The food tastes like a home cooked meal when you get a platillo. I do recommend a paloma or the cantarito, something about that clay cup that gives it a distinguished taste ?Parking: Big area to find parking lotKid-friendliness: They have a kids' menu

The food was good, but way too expensive for such little portions. Elote cup sizes are half of what they used to be.

The restaurant was a little slow for a lunch time. I ordered the three Taco dinner with steak Mexican style. Steak was tender and juicy. The corn tortillas were cooked perfectly. Overall it was a delicious dish. I will definitely be going back.

Our first time here. So good. Chimichanga, amazing. Hubs had a burrito, he usually eats all of his and half of mine, he could not even finish his! The rest is in the fridge for both of us. Soo good! We will return. Yessica was super sweet. I def would say, get the strawberry margarita! We enjoyed all of it!

This spot is easily one of my favorite stops for Mexican food in the Rockford area. The staff are always very welcoming and remember us each time we're in there. Homemade chips, guacamole, salsa and pico de gallo are all very delicious. Plenty of great food options and daily specials. They have done a great job decorating and adding on to the dining space as well. My wife and I love all of the murals that have recently been added to the walls on the inside. Great work!!! They have lots of tvs for viewing sports games, gaming machines if you're into that, comedy nights very often and also offer karaoke. They have a TouchTunes Jukebox that is loaded with tons of music. If you have not visited this restaurant, you're missing out on something great.
