Definitely a cute hole in the wall authentic Mexican Restaurant!! Mention Ali Barkley and get $3.00 off your meal!! Ask for Benjamin! He is the manager and they will take great care of you!!

1. The menu states the quesadilla meal is 10.99 but they actually charge 16. When we asked they stated they know about this issue already
2. They charged us for the guacamole and for the chips. Chips should come with guacamole. We didn't even get a refill on our chips.
3. The owner/ manager was sitting at the bar drinking and watching us eat. It just felt like a weird atmosphere
4. Their horchata was good
Overall pretty unhappy with this experience.

What a nice place! Clean, friendly service, the place is quite nice, really like the murals! And their food… wow! Really good flavor! It feels like homemade food. Stopped by really quick and I got two burritos to go. While eating, I noticed all the ingredients were fresh, the salsa was delicious (I will increase their spaciness just a little bit more). It has been a long time I haven’t taste a good flavored burrito; it felt real not like Taco Bell. I will definitely come back! Thank you, the food was not only a snack, it was an experience!

We recently returned to Mi Placita for dinner since its reopening. They are under new ownership two nice young men who freshened the place up some it’s very nice and clean. Gabriella was our waitress and she did an excellent job. Now for the food we were not disappointed by anything that we ordered the food was delicious with good portions and fair prices! Give them a try !

Disappointing!!! First no tortilla chips in a Mexican restaurant we order cheese dip she tells us there are no chips and asks do we still want it. Then I ask for a margarita with a upgraded tequila and she tells me she doesn't know how to make them she only has the pre made container it was not good and very salty. The food was very bland lacked salt and any flavor the server was nice but took forever to cash us out and we were the only table. This is my 2nd time since the new owners just to give it a chance being in the neighborhood but we will not be back unfortunately.

This was not as good as I anticipated. I had heard some good things about Mi Placita, so my husband and I tried it for lunch. First, the menu online is not what is in the restaurant. My husband and I both ordered steak tacos with rice and beans. The tortillas were dry and rough, so it was hard to eat. The steak wasn't seasoned and was not cooked long enough. The rice had been sitting under a heat lamp or something because it was hard and clumped together and had no flavor. The server was nice, and the inside was pretty clean. Lastly, which is what got me the most.... is that if you speak a different language and I am dining at your establishment, do not speak poorly or encourage that type of behavior just because you think they dont understand what you're saying. I do not recommend it.
