I have not been happy with service at this location. Staff has a lack of customer service. I have tried this location several times. I used my gift card on last visit and the person at the drive through told me it was invalid. I told her that was not correct. I went home and checked and it did have a balance. I will drive further to go back to Machesney park location. I always had a good experience there.

It's a Panera so what you'd expect atmosphere wise. BUT what really sets this apart from other locations is the staff that works here. Had a mishap with a order, and one quick phone call and manager Kia had it resolved quickly. Definitely the best Panera in the Rockford region.

Panora Bread brings to mind soup in a bread bowl and a warm sandwich. I stopped by for a lunch after work and it wasn't as impressive as it used to be. You order on a monitor pad, and are served by your name being yelled. Yet they ask for a tip... I haven't quite figured out a tip when there's no service... When my name was yelled my food was ready, they forgot my drink. The sandwich, a Cibatta Cheesesteak, looks like the meat was lost in the roll. Very little steak and even less cheese made it on to my Cibatta roll. It doesn't look anything like the Menu pictures. The bread bowl seemed much smaller than I remember, but was very tasty and went very well with my broccoli cheddar soup. The baguette that accompanies most meals was dry and hard. Over all the meal was a disappointment. With as many food places as there are here in Rockford, it will be a while before I return. The food was good, but not very much protein and a lot of bread. Hmmmm, maybe the name Panera Bread should have tipped me off?

I read that this location was slow but in my case it was quite fast. Please take into account all food is made to order and fresh. The food was delicious. And the atmosphere was calmed. The facilities are nice, beautiful and clean

Went for breakfast and ordered the steak and wake. Literally two pieces of meat, half a piece of cheese and no egg on the end of the loaf for my sandwich. Boyfriend’s sandwich was the ham croissant. The single piece of ham was sliced so thin it was translucent. Very disappointed. I heard bad things regarding this location and had to give it a chance due to being a newer location near our home and being big Panera fans. . We will not return to this location, will drive the extra couple of miles to go to the Perryville location. I suggest you do the same. $30 later and had to come to make breakfast. I would give it zero stars, but was not option as this location will not be either.

We waited at LEAST 25 minutes for our order in a nearly empty dining area. Staff gave our order to us incomplete. I had to raise my voice a bit to get someone’s attention for help even though there were employees side eyeing me the whole time I stood. They don’t like talking to customers at all. They only pay attention to drive thru so would not recommend. Food was alright (when it finally all came). This location’s staff sucks.

Food was good, but location seems like it is still getting up to speed with service and they dining area is out of sorts. Not the typical nice setting I am used to seeing at other locations. I will come back and edit as needed when I try again later.

In this location you will spend 30 minutes waiting for your food. In that time you will have to wait to ask for towels to clean up your own table and chairs. While you continue to wait you can take their overflowing garbage out, restock their napkins, and refill their iced tea container as they will all be empty. This is quite possibly the worst run Panera I have ever been to.

Placed a mobile drink to pick-up. There was no one at the front register. The drive up worker finally came to the register and took one persons order. My turn was next and he said “I’ll be right with you”. He went back to the drive up window and never came back. I waited 10 minutes until I caught someone’s attention and asked for my drink that I could see sitting on the table. Every employee looked at me and never came up to ask if I needed help. There was also a lady behind me who was waiting in line and decided to use the online kiosk as it had already been 10 minutes of her waiting.
Horrible service. Not enough workers. 4 people working, and that’s including the manager.
