I almost feel like you can't mess up popeyes chicken but the experience in the restaurant ruins it for you. The biscuits were burnt, some of the chicken was over cooked and I'm assuming it was also under staffed. The guy in the front taking orders was doing the best he could with what he had but this wasn't my greatest experience. Please do better. It's not right to charge more and give me bad service.😥

Me and my wife ordered online, and went to pick up our food. And ended up waiting an HOUR to receive our food. People kept coming in after us, and leaving before us. We had to keep reminding them that we needed our food. They were so disorganized. This is the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. And then when we finally got our food, they were the smallest pieces of chicken I’ve ever saw, and all the tables were nasty and unclean.

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches in drive thru. Was told to pull up. Waited 25 minutes. Went inside for refund. They said they didn't have any receipt paper to show refund. Who knows if I will get refunded or not. Place seems shady with employees that don't care. The previous visit I was at least told they didn't have any sandwiches and was told by the employee to go to Wing Stop to get a good sandwich. Definitely major issues going on here.

How do you keep this location open? The menu board at drive thru is ghetto and broken. Then, Everytime I come here I get told a whole list of items you DON'T HAVE! I used to love Popeye's but your company really needs to fix the locations in Rockford and Loves Park seriously. Anymore this is just a ghetto establishment with all of these locations here. You really want a bad image on your company? So ghetto with everything all the way through the employees and all are obviously mismanaged. So sad. Popeye's used to be really good but not in this area anymore .

Bought a 12 piece meal after leaving a disaster at churches and thought i would go with my staple, popeyes. MISTAKE! Gave me two wings 3 thighs and the rest breast's. I do not like white meat so, out of twelve pieces, I had three to eat. Tried calling for a week and they don't answer their phone, they day they are busy, I say lazy. I finally got them to answer and was talking to the manager, who ended up hanging up and then not answering again. I told her I would rather complain to the store instead of corporate and that's what it got me. A racist black lady that didn't want to give me the time of day. I give this place very little time until it closes. You need to hire people that give a shit! $30 out the window

Went in for an original crispy chicken sandwich. Was told cash only in drive through so i went in. They continued to take cards from people in drivethrough. I asked why i was told different and they jumped down my throat and started yelling at me. Just for asking a simple question. Im glad i asked after i got my food they would have definatly spit in my food.

Every single time I order from this place, they never fail to disappoint by always forgetting something in my order. I keep coming back because they do make their food really well, but it’s frustrating that every time I order delivery, something is always missing.
