We stopped for dinner. The decor is reminiscent of what English style pubs might be like. Large selection of beers and other cocktails. We tried a few things on the menu. Our entrees both arrived barely warm. The Shepard's pie would have been much better if it was actually hot. Same with baked cod and mashed potatoes, which were also cool and bland. We had soup and a dinner salad and those were pretty good. I feel like there is microwaving or another form of reheating involved...
HaA has quickly become my weekly go to. Even I admit, pricing can be a little off-putting, but the food is good. It's not the usual garbage bar food one often gets at bars. Proportions are always perfect. My go-to meals are often the Fish and Chips or the Pulled Pork Poutine.It's not often loud in there. Great food! Great Service! Came for Comedy Night and will definitely be back! Best Fish and Chips around! Both waitresses on the floor were wonderful!! Bit of wait for food but understandable due to the large crowd.
