I must say, of all the local resturants on Riverside this one most reminds of a hidden away Vegas great quality resturant. My family and I ate Bacon wrapped scallops,, calamari, lobster ravoli, Steak sandwich, shrimp scampi and a couple of the stiffest drinks I've had in quite awhile. I am quite pleased with the whole atmosphere, food(a proper chef) , staff, location, and drinks. They are awesome !

I actually hate to have to write this. Our service was great. Our waitress was extremely attentive. The food was good. Slightly above average for Italian. Here's the rub; this place needs to decide if it is a bar with a restaurant or a restaurant with a bar. One particular woman, seated at a table with three other people in the place, was excessively loud and I am pretty sure she just learned how to curse because she was letting the whole restaurant know all the curse words she knew. It was so bad, another booth asked to be moved away from them. It was so excessive, we really couldn't have our own conversations or enjoy the meal. When I inquired near the end of our meal, I came to find out this woman was seated and dining with the owner of the place. I was surprised the owner would be ok with this but here we are. After my inquiry, my waitress went to the back. After about 3 minutes the owner and the curse woman went to the back. From the back you could hear the curse woman yelling the word "who" over and over. I ASSUME the curse woman was made aware of the complaints and wanted to know who was complaining. Honestly just an overly disappointing experience.

Excellent experience. The food quality was fantastic, great flavor with larger than average portions. Toni, our server or hostess, was very good, very attentive and she is very personable, always smiling.

Ehh...the online menu looked better than the food. Expected way more gluten free options. Regular menu was okay. I thought it was over priced for how the food tasted but they did have cheaper specials for the Sunday we visited, but we didn't try those options.

Really delicious food. We came in an hour before closing on Tuesday and we felt bad as only one other table was seated. I wish I had remembered our waitress's name but she was fantastic. I know sometimes that last customer can be a drag, but she was so wonderful and didn't make us feel bad in any way. We were 2 couples and she offered the 2 for Tuesday menu. One of us did that and the other set did the Ala carte. We joked and laughed with her, especially when my husband ordered the pizza for himself without realizing it was huge. Now on to the food. I love their pasta dishes. I've tried a few, and they have all been good, but my favorite so far has been the tortellini carbonara. I also love that they have a pasta flight where you can choose 3 pastas. So many times i want to try a new thing but also am craving a favorite; This is absolutely the best of both worlds and every restaurant ever needs to get in the game. As I said my husband got the short rib pizza and it has now become a personal fave even though I only tried it as next day cold pizza leftovers (makes me seriously wish I tried it hot and fresh). My only sadness are the desserts are a miss. Between our 4 ppl I got to try 2 desserts and both were dry dry dry. But get your entree and go get ice cream after and have a wonderful beautiful night.

Lobster ravioli was delicious and staff were polite, but the steak was a tad over cooked so if you order that, keep in mind

I would really prefer not to leave subpar reviews, especially for small businesses because I am an advocate for success, but our dinner experience last night was significantly underwhelming to the point that I feel it is necessary; especially as this was already a restaurant previously (Ciao Bella) that apparently wasn't sustainable, and it appears Pomodoro is on the same derailed track.

The meal that I wanted was not available (Lobster Ravioli) so I went with my second choice: 4 Cheese Bruschetta Ravioli. That actually sounded delicious, however the sound of it and the actual production placed in front of me was vastly different: five small ravioli's in luke-warm sauce and minimal "bruschetta." I imagined a significant amount of garnish - yet it appeared that two cherry tomatoes were thinly sliced and sprinkled over cream sauce. Very disappointing.

My husband's pork chop was edible, however, it was clearly cooked in a sous vide method and then briefly placed on a grill to leave the impression char marks. If this were a busier restaurant, perhaps we could overlook this, but in the same breath, when paying premium prices, there is an expectation that a chef is capable of slow cooking this on a griddle which clearly wasn't the case.

I considered letting all of this go, but the tipping point was my mojito. I posted a picture of it sitting after 10 minutes while my husband and I talked (so the ice had started to melt) but you can clearly see this drink was ALL ice. I literally had five sips, which didn't even last throughout half of my dinner, and it was gone. I don't even need more alcohol, I just want enough flavor to get through the majority of my meal.

The service was fair, but the server seemed like she wasn't in the mindset to be working and her visits to the table were abrupt.

I can't justify spending $86 on a meal out for about $10 worth the food and alcohol. I understand there is overhead, but the quality and portion doesn't offset the cost, especially when so many other places do. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We ate here with family to celebrate a birthday. Things started off good. The Alfredo waffle fries appetizer was good. After finishing the appetizer I had finished my beer. Eventually the bartender walked by and grabbed the empty bottle. Food came and was never asked if I’d like anything else. I key the steak sandwich medium rare and it was just a touch over rare. And there was a lot of gristle. I was never asked if I wanted another drink. Luckily the sandwich came with some Au jus so that helped. I eventually asked my daughter if I could have some of her drink. Not a good first impression of this place.
