I called around at least 4 places in the area and these guys are the only ones with blue gill. It was $13 for blue gill, which is more than the cod or walleye. I got it with potato salad which was nice and tangy. Their onion rings we're fried perfectly too! Their coleslaw reminded me of kfc. No option of potato pancakes. The blue gill had corneal batter, which was something I've never had before. It was different. The fish had the distinct pond fish flavor that sometimes gets lost when they get fried. Not fishy in a bad was mind you! Fast and friendly service. If you have a hankering for blue gill fish fry, I think these guys are the only one in the area.
