A quaint hidden gem! Do not let the hunting overtones distract you; the ambiance is casual, comfy, and inviting. Food is delicious, diverse, and fresh. The fritters, especially the peach, are exceptional.

The food was good. The air conditioner was not working and it was way too hot. My father ordered a meal which came with soup/salad. He ordered the soup, which did not come before the meal. When our meals came, the waitress said she would be bringing the soup and which point we said... too late. Please take the soup off the bill. When the bill came I could not see where the soup had been taken off. She went back to the back twice before she finally told us some Blue Cheese crumbles ($1) had been comped for the soup. Would have been nice to know they were out of soup.. he could have gotten the other soup or a salad instead. But we were not informed of that. Maybe if your air is not working, you need to shut down. I am usually too cold in most restaurants. That is the 1st time I was sweating during an indoor dining experience.

Good food when it's prepared correctly, and you are served with what you ordered. Minor complaining and criticism needs to be taken more seriously by cook/owner and not taken out on the servers who are caught in the middle. Treating customers and employees with respect is key to a good business.

We’ve been coming here for several years now and it’s always been delicious but the last 2 times have been terrible. My husband had the catfish and said both fillets tasted like they’d gone bad. The last time we were there and the potatoes were off, we said something and the cook argued via our server. He didn’t say anything this time and just didn’t eat. I had an incorrect sauce and asked for the correct one and again, the cook argued via our server. Both times he has actually eaten food off of our plates! He was way behind the last time and we were told that he chewed out our server when she tried to check on our order. Today, it’s 90° outside and it felt like the same inside. We were so hot sitting in there and couldn’t wait to get to the car. Literally all the food has changed, even the fritters were bland. I’m not sure what happened here but it’s not good and we won’t be back for a very long time.

My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for years because it was consistently good food. Our last 3 visits have been frankly disgusting. We are done giving them any more chances. Especially for a near $100 bill. One of my favorites is their fried catfish and after my last experience eating it, I would recommend everyone to avoid. From the moment I took a bite I knew the fish was bad. The taste in my mouth I cannot even describe. Basically it was rancid! I legitimately had one bite and was like nope. I'm not getting sick. Now in a normal scenario you would voice your concerns to your server. Not here. It's not the servers fault but the chef basically berates them and it's always the customers fault. Our previous two visits there was issues with our order to which we spoke up about, only to have the chef question us and yell and the server. So this time I opted to just say nothing. My wife loves their chicken tenders however those have completely changed as well. She couldn't even chew the chicken. It was full of fat. Then she had asked for a honey bomb dipping sauce. Instead she got something extremely spicy. She let the server know and guess what. The chef questioned it and yelled at the server. The whole place is just wow! Complete loss of words. The servers do their best but this chef/owner has lost complete touch with his customer base. Which was evidenced by the fact that a typical Friday night they would be packed. It was a ghost town. Think that sums up the public's opinion on what this place has become. True shame. Used to be a cool spot

Food was great ... waitress attentive and efficient.. but says wheelchair accessible tables and restroom. They have just standard tables and couldn't fit my chair down narrow hallway let alone try go in restroom door...they also have a built-in bench that makes it hard take a chair into dinning room.. Food is great just not set up for wide adult wheelchair
went a week ago n had most amazing experience only to return tonight to a complete opposite opinion. ordered exactly same meal n tonight was dry, chewy n overcooked. said something, got redone with a different fresh, moist chicken dinner. would not bring new augrautin, dry n not great tonight. $80 bill çame with no discount for the inconvenience of watching my dinner date eat, while my 2nd dinner cooked. Server said she asked the owner, who btw was the cook and was told NO. It's a shame, had told so many yo go, will be giving updates and honestly this was rude to have owner, that's know for the pan fried chicken, allow this. my biggest regret was not getting photos. just a shame as a server myself, that owner does not care about customers.
