Waste of money never will I order tamales from this place again. I received half the dozen undercooked and a mess. No taste either. I can’t even get refunded because I ordered thru DoorDash. Beware of this place.

Used to be my go to place for pickup and good food. But so far on 3 occasions I've called and someone answers and hangs up. Then I called back and said it's not the restaurant. Then we go there the next onsite and apparently I had the correct number but no one wanted to own up to who answered. Gave them a second chance, today to be exact, and again, someone hangs up and then called back and no one answers. Good food but they make it hard to simply make a pick up order.

I have to say food was goood…BUT…BUT…will I go again or recommend it!? Probably not,first time there and counter girl was not welcoming, she was on phone l…no acknowledgment or a word to us, once she got our food she just left on the counter and again nothing of acknowledgment. Sad cause we were looking for a new breakfast spot but this place will definitely not be it…

Puro masa. Price of tamales are up, but quality is down. No way I should be paying this much just for masa.
I really love their tamales but I won't be back. A man came in before me to pick up his order and had a problem with the order he had been given. one of the workers was trying to solve the problem for him. There was a girl about 5 feet tall with long black hair in a ponytail and a little chubby standing by the cash register watching the man and worker fix the problem. she saw me standing there and ignored me until another worker approached her and told her to take my order. She looked at me, waved her hand and said she was going to wait until the problem with the man was resolved. I waited another minute and when she finally turned around, I stared at her. I placed my order and it was ready about 2 minutes later. That young woman needs to learn that this is her family's business and she needs to respect the customers.

The people who work here have no idea what they are doing or how to go about customer issues. I placed a pick up order over uber eats on Saturday morning 11/16 for pick up that morning for a party that I had that afternoon. I placed the order for 1 dozen pork red tamales and 1 dozen chicken green tamales early so that I would be sure I had my food and it wouldn’t be sold out. When I got home, I seen I was given 2 dozen of red tamales and immediately called the restaurant. When I called the person who answered did not understand me and another person took over. When I explained my issue the only answer I was given was “we can’t do anything about it. You have to come in tomorrow morning because we didn’t handle your order.” Since I placed my order in the morning and I called a few hours later realizing I had received the wrong order. I asked “so am I supposed to just leave the tamales you guys gave me today until tomorrow when you’re telling me to come in?” I got the same answer “we can’t do anything about it.” I then tried placing another order over uber eats for Thursday 11/21 for a work potluck and I realized that they do not have a price for the dozen chicken tamales option, it just comes out as $0.00. I called about that issue, when I called the phone was picked up but nobody said hello or answered when I said hello multiple times, nor did anybody ask me to hold please. All I was hearing was background noise of them handling other customers orders. I was not asked to hold for a few minutes or anything, just talking to myself confused as to why they answered and didn’t say anything. As a business there should always be a solution to problems no matter what time the problem takes place or who handled the order. You DO NOT tell your customers that there is nothing you can do. Very unprofessional, rude, & unwelcoming. It’s very sad to say because their food and tamales are amazing!!!
