First time here. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Boyfriend got the flautas and I got the chicken huaraches. Food was good and filling. Waitress provided us with chips and salsa. All the sauces/salsas weren't spicy at all. Good flavors and quality ingredients. Would return again and try something else from their menu.

This place is overpriced$12 for a half dozen of dry tamales??They probably wouldn’t be bad if they weren’t so stingy on the fillingI was highly unsatisfied and will not return her again.

The Tamales were flavorful, but had way too much Masa, which makes the Tamales very heavy and they definitely need to have more meat filled in them. They are $25.00 per Dozen, which is expensive, but if they have more meat then, you don't mind paying the price. They are too fattening when they are made that way. My Grandmother, Mom and myself always make sure our Tamales are made very clean especially soaking the okay! I hope Don Misael informs the spreaders to spread with less Masa and the stuffers to make the Tamales with more meat. Also, the green salsa for the Chicken Tamales need to be a little bit more spicy.

This place has authentic handmade tortillas and Mexican cafe de olla!! Chips and salsa are also great. We tried the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles with eggs from the breakfast menu, and also ordered one quesadilla and one tamal with mole. Everything was exquisite, although chilaquiles were way too spicy. Portions are very large, for instance, the quesadilla is maybe the size of two tortillas. The service was very slow. However, the waitress, Sully, had a positive attitude and was very friendly, even though the place was crowded. In general, the place/atmosphere is nothing fancy but the food is worth trying. We would be back some time!Vegetarian options: Eggs with nopales, quesadilla, chilaquiles
