A must stop when I'm in town visiting. The steak sub is my favorite with some cheese fries. Pickles are huge and priced well. I love seeing the big ole jar of pickles on the counter, reminds me of my childhood 😋

Not the friendliest Mr Sub Ive eaten at, but same solid expectations met. Parking lot is kind of a nightmare - nearly got smacked by a dominos driver flying back in from the other entrance/exit way

I had never been to Mr. Submarine. It was pretty good. The bread was good on my sub and the fries were hot and made fresh. Id come back.

Sure! I had an amazing experience at Mr. Submarine at 8542 Ogden Ave in Lyons, IL. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel truly welcomed. The staff was attentive, polite, and eager to make sure I had everything I needed, which really stood out.

I ordered a combo sub and a pizza puff, and I have to say, it was exactly what I needed. The food came out fast and fresh, which was a relief since it was the first thing I had eaten all day. The combo sub was packed with flavor, with perfectly sliced meats, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of seasoning. The bread was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without getting soggy. The pizza puff was crispy, cheesy, and delicious, adding the perfect touch to my meal.

Not only was the food top-notch, but the overall experience was fantastic. The staff really goes the extra mile to ensure customers leave happy, and that level of service is rare to find these days. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in the area and looking for great food, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Mr. Submarine is the place to go!

Want a good sub sandwich? Keep driving down Plainfield rd make a right on ogden Ave & go to Jimmy John's. Their bread, meet, service & sandwiches are far better. Especially when it comes to this particular location.

The service is very nice and unlike most fast-food places their fries are actually served hot. The sandwiches were good especially the Italian combo. And the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Definitely go for the garlic fries! Very large serving size, cooked well, and good flavor.
In the area at lunchtime so tried the two hot dog special, but upgraded to their garlic fries.
Skip the hot dogs, they didn't seem too good to me, I'll try the sub next time I'm there.
Restaurant seemed clean enough though old school design.

A friend and I both had the 2 Hot Dog + Fries Deal. Not much of a deal, since it was over $9. We both upgraded to Garlic Fries, for an additional 99¢. Then the drinks were over $2.50 each, so the whole bill was $30. Kinda pricey, for dogs and fries. There was a decent amount of fries, but the dogs were small and skinny + the buns seemed stale.
