My grilled shrimp with pasta was some of the best I have ever had i will be back maybe next time I will get a steak because they looked

I took my lady here and we absolutely loved it! This is the most classy place in Macomb cause GOD knows it’s all musty clubs and banks out here. If your looking for a nice place with a beautiful atmosphere and amazing food.. Then this is the place you need to be.. no doubt.

Disappointed. They didn't take our drink order, just water. I had to go to the bar to buy my daughter a soda. The food was bland.

Wonderful staff. Delicious steak meal. What a fantastic place. Our group had a dinner for a dozen people. They had no problems with our big group. The appetizers were wonderful. Drinks top notch. Such a great place to have in Macomb. Strongly recommend.

Waitress was great she suggested a cabernet wine I had never had was excellent. The lemonade chicken was what I had for my entree .???

Enjoyed 2 lovely meals of salmon and mahi mahi at the outside tables. We did not go away hungry as portions were plentiful. Alex took good care of serving us in timely and friendly manner.

We had a table of 14 & our waitress Nicole did great!! She was new & we were the largest table she’d had so far. She kept up & was very attentive to our needs! She’s a keeper!

Wonderful experience. Had the lemonade chicken and smashed potatoes. My girlfriend had the Cajun shrimp. Food was awesome and service was terrific.

Very calming and chic decor, took my daughter for a mom date and she's still talking about it days later. She even tried my salmon and said it was delicious! Those rolls with butter were to die for!

From the owner/manager Lisa to the wait staff, Magnolias exudes confidence and fun. Our group of six ate in the bar area on graduation night for WIU. The owner graciously fit us in on a very busy night. She made a point to ask Jenna, our server to pay special attention. Jenna was deft and quick with the just the right service. The food is exceptional. We ordered grouper (with a j*** rub), salmon and lemon chicken with a house special lobster bisque and garlic smashed red potatoes. The entrees and soup were excellent, the veggie sides a tad overcooked.

Came in at 8:30 on a Friday evening for supper & was told they had just closed the kitchen & they wouldn’t seat us. Severely disappointed. Not sure we’ll try again. Wait staff was rude about it & they were still carrying food out of the kitchen…

I visit this restaurant whenever I'm in town. Always amazing! The food and service is outstanding! They are always on point!

Very friendly and very delicious!! We definitely will return! The owner is awesome! The bartender's were great and quick to serve! Just a great place overall!!

I usually love mags, but this time, not so good. I didn't mention to the table that my Brussel spouts were cold and my medium rare steak was closer to medium well. The other steak (ordered rare) was also closer to medium until medium well, which I understand. If I had to guess, the steaks were under a heat lamp for way too long, as we had only seen our server sparingly throughout the meal. The other members of my party had similar complaints. The lobster risotto was cold and was microwaved so much that it took another 8 mins to cool down before being edible without scorching the roof of my mouth. The manager approached, and I've never felt more insulted at a restaurant in my life, which was very odd as she has always been a friendly, gracious host. The blame was immediately placed on 3 different cooks in the kitchen. As an Executive Chef for more than 15 years, I totally understand. A line cook is no easy task. What we didn't appreciate was the Manager making sarcastic comments to our face like the issue was my fault and that I dont know the proper temps for different steaks . I've always loved going there, and I'll just chalk it up as everyone having a bad night maybe, even though I was plenty happy prior to arriving. I will say the appetizers were delicious, and not cold. This is the first review I've ever left for any food establishment in my life. Figured I'd mention that because I have never been "that guy", but at the same time, if I'm gonna drop a couple hundred at a restaurant, which is fine, I'd appreciate the food to at least be hot. I could have dealt with the overcooked steaks, but I cannot sit by when I'm being served food barely at 110⁰

My friend and I visited Magolias, first for drinks, then ultimately for food. While there are other bars in town, we both enjoyed the atmosphere of Magnolias. I adored their bacon wrapped sausages, my goal is now to recreate them. Most of their menu items can be made GF or Dairy Free.
