Quaint, casual, welcoming. Free popcorn is actually good and not stale. Drinks are fair price. I prefer the cafe on mellow nights with good friends.

Low key spot could tell it's a regular bar. All around decent experience , low cost drinks , listen to my rambles and left. Was there about 1hr .15... Cool spot

Was nice I came early and left early.. but apparently the bar underground down stairs sounds like my type of place.. a little louder and more let's get buzzed type of attitude.. upstairs was great but I had to leave early..

Three of us ate lunch at Chick's last Friday. Our meals were great including dessert. The wait staff was efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant and fun. We'll definitely go back when we can.

We’ve been looking forward to trying this place after hearing good things about it. We ordered the portobello mushroom fries and we each had a burger. The fries were cooked well but lacked flavor. We added a dip of salt and that helped some. My burger was dry. Maybe that was the way I ordered it; medium well. I didn’t care for the taste of the meat either. I felt like it was a little gamey tasting. I didn’t finish the burger. Compared with the excellent burger we had a few weeks ago in Muscatine, Iowa at Boonies, this was a disappointing lunch.

Went to The Cafe today and even though I'm 22 this was my first time ordering at a bar. I got 2 shots of Crown Apple for $4.5 each and since it was open mic night, I got to enjoy some local music. After that I went to their downstairs bar and used the restroom, played a few rounds of Pac-Man on the arcade machine and went on my way. It was a nice experience and the free popcorn was decent too. I feel like I'll definitely be coming here again.

Calm townie bar been around longer than a lot of residents, still relevant,thats proof it's a good establishment right there. Plus they put on the best live music of any of the bars.
