Three of us ate lunch at Chick's last Friday. Our meals were great including dessert. The wait staff was efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant and fun. We'll definitely go back when we can.

We’ve been looking forward to trying this place after hearing good things about it. We ordered the portobello mushroom fries and we each had a burger. The fries were cooked well but lacked flavor. We added a dip of salt and that helped some. My burger was dry. Maybe that was the way I ordered it; medium well. I didn’t care for the taste of the meat either. I felt like it was a little gamey tasting. I didn’t finish the burger. Compared with the excellent burger we had a few weeks ago in Muscatine, Iowa at Boonies, this was a disappointing lunch.

Went to The Cafe today and even though I'm 22 this was my first time ordering at a bar. I got 2 shots of Crown Apple for $4.5 each and since it was open mic night, I got to enjoy some local music. After that I went to their downstairs bar and used the restroom, played a few rounds of Pac-Man on the arcade machine and went on my way. It was a nice experience and the free popcorn was decent too. I feel like I'll definitely be coming here again.

Calm townie bar been around longer than a lot of residents, still relevant,thats proof it's a good establishment right there. Plus they put on the best live music of any of the bars.

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Illinois on my business trip. They have chicken fingers that they call chicken lips, but don't let the last throw you off. It's just half a chicken breast basically. The chicken here tastes really good, and it's worth making a stop at if you're just passing through

I was in Macomb for a weekend and wanted to get a beer with my husband and brother on a Saturday night. The Cafe was one of the only spots still open for a beer after we finished up with dinner, so we stopped by. I think graduation had been the weekend before, because it was empty and not a college age kid to be seen. They still checked our IDs and stamped us (with a stamp that read "COPY" like I use at work to stamp copies of documents!?). We just had a few beers, but I enjoyed our time at the Cafe. They were playing good music, and it just felt comfortable there - no frills, just a dive-y small town bar. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to stop by again for drinks or for some live music!
The downstairs isn't tall person friendly but thats alright, my friend and I had a good time. Especially since some of the regulars bought our drinks. Bartenders friendly as well
