The lady came out and looked at us so I told her we had 5 people, 4 adults and 1 child. She was very rude when telling us they didn't have room for a "large group". Then came back and said she might have a booth available . We decided to go elsewhere simply based on her attitude.Best Eggplant parmesan I've ever had!

Nice place, waitress was busy but nice. I would try it again.I’m a bit of a pizza snob and that’s what I ordered and will be reviewing:✅Good dough ?✅good quantity of fresh ingredients ?❌ Not enough sauce❌ under seasoned, needed more salt for the generous amount of mozzarella.Getting large pieces of real mushroom is definitely a step up from most offerings.Also had a chicken Caesar salad that I thought was very good.

I was in town to visit my mother and we decided to try Vitale's for dinner. It is a very unassuming place, has the feel of an old time diner. You don't go here for the ambience (2/5) or for the service (3/5). I ordered the spaghetti w meat sauce and meatballs. I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised : ) The meatballs (4/5) were large and tasty, substantial, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was dark, rich, sweet and quite good (3.5/5). Overall, I would recommend, and there are a couple of things on the menu I'd like to try including the Italian beef with marinara and the Italian sausage with marinara : )

Vitale's is a hometown favorite. The best place for authentic Italian food in Macomb. They have many delicious items on the menu. However, my favorite is their deep dish pizza. It has tons of cheese.. stuffed with your preferred favorite toppings and a delicious tomato sauce to top it off! It is one of the pricier items on the menu, but it is highly worth it. This restaurant is owned by a wonderful Macomb family. The atmosphere is a family-friendly place.

We stumbled upon this family restaurant by accident a year ago while traveling across the US. When we set out to travel this summer all three of our kids requested that we come back through Macomb and go to Vitale's again, so we did. It was absolutely amazing a year ago when we first went and I dare say it was even better than we remembered this year when we stopped in!! This is an absolute "must stop" for our annual Summer RV across the US Trip!!We are a family of 5, everyone ordered their own meal, drinks, and ordered appetizers our bill was under $100!! We took 2 half pizzas and a large box of pasta as leftovers for another 4 meals along with full tummies upon leaving!!Thank you Vitale's for an excellent meal, family atmosphere, and phenomenal service!!
I've been going to vitale's for many years. It has an old school vibe but the food is great. Owners family has always been friendly and hospitable. My parents love the lasagna and I usually get Mostaccioli Aglio e Olio con Broccoli. I see a lot of pizzas go out but I don't think I've ever gotten 1. My daughter loves the spaghetti and meatballs.

We ordered a thin crust and a stuffed pizza. Both were good. The stuffed was a bit too cheesy for my liking. It over powered the bacon. Personal preference.
