I would not recommend going here, the people that work there are very rude. You're better off to go to the one in Forsyth!!

I just wanted you to know that we had a very disappointing experience at your Krekels in Macon tonight. When we picked up our food at the window at 7:05 pm(they donât close until 8:00) we were told that we couldnât eat in the dining room. We had to eat outside because they were closing the dining room. There was no sign on the door and they didnât tell us before we ordered our food. They waited until we got our food. It was very rude to make us sit outside when it was cool and windy out. If we had known beforehand, we would have gone somewhere else. Itâs unfortunate because we come here frequently but, wonât anymore.

Google says they are open until 8 pm on Saturday. We arrived at 6:55 and walked in. They informed us at the window we could not eat inside because their dining room closes at 7. Itâs not posted ANYWHERE that the dining room closes at 7. Another lady in front of us IN A WHEELCHAIR was also forced to eat outside. I could understand shutting things down with 30 minutes to go, but an hour, really? At 7:20 we finished our burgers and I wanted a cone. I went to the door and sure enough it was closed. A guy cleaning inside opened it and asked if I needed anything. I said I just wanted a cone. He told me to go through the drive through. As you can see in the picture Iâm now behind a truck with five people ordering full meals, just so I can order one cone. This is customer service at its worst. I wonât be back to this location. Please change your policy or at bare minimum post your hours clearly.
Update: I let the girl at the window know my opinion on this issue. I was firm, but did not cuss or yell. She offered no apology or excuse, and shut the window in my face.

Whenever I see a roadside Muffler Man, I am suddenly hungry for a burger and ice cream.
On my way back from Bethany, I ended up in Macon and couldn't resist the allure of a double Krekel burger with cheese (mustard, mayo, tomato and pickle). This franchisee did the Krekel family proud ! Nice crispy edged burger and fresh fries !
Since this is a Dr Pepper shop, I started with a Dr Pepper...but ultimately ordered a large rootnbeer float for dessert.. TO GO.
I also like that they have an old Wendy's sign on top of the building.... lol...

Waited 5-10 minutes for one bacon cheeseburger and order of onion rings was told to pull around to parking lot and waited another 15 minutes and no food had to leave pick up family member
The food is amazing, known for their burgers and they don't disappoint! Thin burgers and good fries. Not a lot of room in there but I think it's mostly drive thru, not sure. Prices went up due to inflation but hell, that's everywhere! It's totally worth it, it's right down the street from me, also close to Rock Springs where you can eat at a picnic table. Perfect spot off the interstate. You don't really interact with the staff so no comments on that. I'll be back for sure though, thanks guys!

Took twenty minutes in drive thru. Traffic was very backed up and boy came to window and was very rude with an attitude and said âwhat?â I asked what was taking so long. âHe said âweâre cooking your food.â He slammed the window shut. Then 5 min later brought my food to window and handed it almost dropping it then slammed the window again. That child needs terminatedâŚ..I wonât be back.

I just wanted to give praise to all that weâre working last night!!! We waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes last night and we had somewhere to be in 5 minutes. We asked the young man to hold our food and we would come back. Our appointment took longer than we thought and we returned 10 minutes before close and asked if they could possibly remake the food since it had sat so long. They kindly remade our food without hesitation and were all so kind!! GREAT JOB and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE âźď¸??
