the last 5 times I have visited I tried ordering a banana split and have been told they had no bananas. if you never have bananas take it off the menu. everything is overpriced and not very good. if I want krekels in the future I will make the drive to Decatur. very disappointing

I’ve given this place numerous tries. It always takes forever to get through the drive thru and they almost always miss something in our order. We went through tonight and both of our corndogs were very cold. We tried to call to make it right but nobody answered the phone both times we called.

These kids should be teaching the other Krekels in the area how to make a burger. Consistently well cooked burgers. Somehow crispy and crusty patties while still being juicy. Seasoned well. Fast service.
A fast food burger that's better and cheaper than most sit down restaurants. Proof that not all krekels are the same. This one shadows the rest. Management really needs to take note and keep those kids happy because they are killing it.

Awesome place, great food and friendly service. Can't go wrong with the double cheeseburgers and the cheese balls. I would share a picture but I devoured everything before I thought about it 😂 We drove from Pana just to grab dinner if that tells you how good it is!

Burger was delicious but it took 20 minutes for them to make 2 hamburgers and one order of onion rings and no one was ahead of us and 2 sweet teas 2 hamburgers and one order of onion rings cost $32.00.👎

Probably single-handedly.The worst french fries i've ever seen served. I'd already left by the time i've tried them. Soggy uncooked. Absolutely discalston. The double cheese I felt didn't taste quite the same as from one of the other locations in Decatur..

Just left there without ever ordering and I will never be back. It's too bad because I've been a Krekels fan my whole life. I waited 20min in line last week and only had one vehicle in front of me. Even after I got to the window it was a long wait. The guy behind me was yelling at me and all I ordered was a burger. Multiple times I've witnessed employees out back smoking and goofing around. Today I was told at the speaker to just drive around to the window and order there. Apparently they can only prepare one order at a time. Old man Krekel would have been livid and this would never have happened with him. I highly recommend not doing business here because they also act like they don't care whatsoever.

A bunch of high schoolers running the place and can’t get an order right. Maybe if they turned their loud music down, they could hear the order correctly. The girl with blonde hair in a teal blue Millikin shirt couldn’t put the order in correctly twice and didn’t even know what marshmallow topping for a sundae was. Asked for a single bacon cheeseburger with everything on it and initially got a single cheeseburger with bacon only, asked them for the toppings and they put 3 pickles and onions on it. The Oreo shake was completely watered down with milk, we threw it away. Go to a different Kreckels location if you want your order correct.
I ate lunch here a couple of hours ago. I went through the drive thru, it took quite some time to get my food, and there was only one other person in the drive thru.
I ordered a pork tenderloin combo.
The sandwich was terrible and the fries were undercooked.
The pork tenderloin was super thin and it was tough, and tasted like it had been cooked hours before and then heated up. I ate half of it and threw the rest away.

This Krekels consistently has the worst service, longest wait and highest prices of the franchise. Today it took about 30 minutes for us to get two ice cream cones and a soda. It wasn't even busy. When we got through ordering there was only a single car ahead of us, and it still took half an hour. In this time I could have driven to moweaqua ordered and been home, or went to the Krekels in Mt Zion. Upon arriving at the window, the guy took the cash out of my hand without even telling me my total. When I asked for the total, he appeared confused and proceeded to shut the window and take my money without ever saying a single word. I wish I could say it's a one off instance, but in the last year it's been an issue about every time.

Went here today to get a burger and milkshake. Incredibly slow service and rude workers. Ordered a chocolate chip milkshake at the speaker, and when I got to the window they said they didn’t have chocolate chips when the menu clearly stated they did. I asked what other shake options they serve, and the boy at the window said chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, or lemon. I know that they have more than that, but they are possibly too lazy t make it. I get it, you are super busy and probably short staffed, but no need to be short tempered with paying customers. On top of this, my single cheeseburger and medium milkshake was 15 dollars and I was over charged. Super unhappy and do NOT recommend. Go to the Mt Zion one, it is much better!

Went thru drive through. On the menu a hamburger combo meal was $8.05. That's a single burger, ff and medium drink. I ordered a single hamburger, ff and small shake. They charged me individually and total was over $14.00. Let alone, the wait in drive thru was 28 minutes. Never again! My grandkids like there lemon ice cream, but no more trips there. Do Better!
