The service is friendly and the food is good for breakfast--they only meal we've tried here. But our group was larger--13-- and we had to wait an hour for our food after we ordered. It seemed that all smaller groups got their food before ours, even if they were seated after we were seated. We ate breakfast here twice one week and had the same experience each time. If you have a small group, you should be okay.
Had the turtle special. Best I have eaten. Great service. Home cooked food at its finest. Pie was to die for. Worth the hour drive
Food is very good and portions large
One of Illinois small town great bars. We try to stop here every time we go on Jeep rides up in that area. Friendly bartenders and staff.
