I had high hopes when I saw many traditional Mexican dishes on the menu along with the fact that they offered cactus. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The cactus was pickled and not fresh, and the salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce. Steak tacos were fatty. The guacamole was already turning brown, and none of the food had much taste in general. đ The service was quick and efficient, but I felt like none of the ingredients were of quality. If the restaurant invested in better and more flavorful ingredients then this place could be truly authentic! Prices are good, but you get what you pay for.

for a Breaking Bad themed restaurant, I expected a lot more with the interior design. All they have is the breaking bad logo but with taco instead of bad. I ordered takeout in the restaurant, and when my food was ready, the waitress just handed me my food without saying anything. No âthank youâ or âenjoyâ, or at the bare minimum âbyeâ. All I got was chicken tacos, which is really hard to mess up. But the chicken had no seasoning. You shouldnât have to rely on the salsa to add any kind of flavor to a taco. Wonât be coming back.

The food is pretty good, but their online ordering charges a âconvenience feeâ then hits you up for a pre-paid tip. So, keep in mind the their prices are higher than listed on their menu. Although distasteful , Iâll pay a tip before service. However, when ordering takeout, there is no opting out of the âconvenienceâ i.e give us more money fee.
If BT must increase prices for overhead, they should do it, but please stop the dishonest end of the order money grab. Iâll happily return when they get rid of that fee â even if their prices go up.
Please help spread the word with your fellow Mahomet citizens and help stop this infuriating practice.

Updating to confirm, still the best. Absolutely my favorite Mexican American food in Champaign Urbana. I've never had anything I didn't like here. Everyone I've invited to eat with here has suggested it the next time we were in Mahomet.
