Southpaw Social is a new restaurant in Mahomet with a great menu. The food is delicious, especially the chicken Alfredo, fresh fruit, jalapeño burger, carrot cake, and cheesecake with strawberries. The owner and staff provide excellent service, even for catered events. While they don't serve lobster, the available items are top-notch. The cozy space and quick service make it a must-visit spot. Recently, visitors praised the excellent beer cheese, perfectly cooked pasta with incredible flavor, and the customizable jalapeño burger, which was huge and beautifully presented. The friendly and attentive service, especially from the staff, made the experience even better. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options with great care and setup, making it a highly recommended place for both the food and the service. The sweet potato fries with Mike's Hot Honey are a popular favorite, combining sweet and spicy flavors perfectly. Southpaw Social has also recently added a breakfast menu that features solid choices, generous portions, and regular breakfast beverages along with cocktails for brunch.
