On a beautiful fall Sunday, we sat in the courtyard at Petticoat Junction in Zearing and listened to some great live music. Very relaxing atmosphere. It is a nice grassy area with lots of room, tables with umbrellas.
Can bring your own chairs too. Drinks were served at an outdoor bar, or you could go inside for a full service bar.
The food truck was from Flo's on Pulaski.
Had the giant pork tenderloin sandwich they are famous for. It was so big! I had leftovers for the next day!

Petticoat is one of those one bar villages surrounded by blue collar farmers and stragglers who don’t fit in the confines of the bigger surrounding towns. It’s a great dive bar with a pool table and good service. Expect to meet some good ole boys and wacky characters.

Bar crawl stopped in on 2/4/23. Neat little place. Friendly bartender and patrons.

Great hidden gem in the countryside. The service is fantastic and prices are reasonable. Food served occasionally as specials but not always a full menu. They have bands on the patio in the spring, summer and fall (no charge) and a full bar outside as well as inside. Definitely worth a stop if you are near Zearing, Illinois. Be sure to say hi to Julie, the owner, a wonderful lady.
Love this bar. Friendly, great people and people stop in from all over just to go to Petticoat junction. Signatures on the ceiling... Within 15 minutes you will feel you have been there before.
