Yesterday my fiancee and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised at Flor De Fuego. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious, the ribeye is the best I've ever tasted it was tender and juicy and it was on special for $25. The drinks were excellent, and our waitress was very nice though she was in a rush because she was the only waitress that seemed to be working and the restaurant was full. Either way this place is very good and we will be back hopefully more staff is hired .

Starting with the positives: 1. We got seated right away with complementary chips and salsa. 2. Most food came out relatively quickly. 3. Half of our party’s meals were piping hot (literally sizzling on the plate. 4. Drinks and steaks were on special, so the final price was less than we expected.
Where things weren’t great: 1. It took a very long time for our waitress to take our order (starting with drinks and apps). It also took a while to get the drinks, but the guac came out right away. 2. 3/4 of our party’s food came to the table, at which point the waitress could not remember what I ordered. After reminding her, it took about 10 more minutes for my food to come out. I ordered the fire pollo en mole, which on the menu specifies it’s a half chicken. The food came out (picture attached) with a pile of shredded chicken with mole sauce. The taste was good, but definitely not how it was described on the menu. The waitress forgot multiple times to bring out tortillas she said came with the chicken. I asked the waitress about this and she said the chicken depends on what they have that day? Not sure what that means. 3. Half of our party’s food was room temp (mainly the rice and beans). 4. The birria tacos had pieces of bone in them (picture attached). 5. The waitress never came around to ask if we needed more water or drinks. 6. After we told the waitress we were done, the waitress walked away from the table. It took about 15 minutes before we had to go find someone and ask for the check.
Unfortunately don’t recommend.

Got taco tray and the tacos were bomb. 💣 very good and 20 tacos for 35 bucks isn’t bad. Meat was very tender for steaks tacos will definitely be back

Me and my hubby wanted to try this place out. Bad idea the Salsa was nasty and the drinks were so so food never again. Sorry hope you get better.
I’m not sure where all of these bad reviews are coming from! Our waitress was lovely, the margaritas were delicious and the steak fajitas were tender and so flavorful. For how delicious everything was and how great the service was I think the price was very reasonable. People just love to complain 🤣

2 stars because the chips were fresh and the guacamole was good. The rest of the food not so much ordered cheese enchiladas, they were cold and the cheese on the inside wasn’t melted. The shrimp tacos are deep fried shrimp with tails still on (beware). And the steak tacos were one chunk of steak and some burnt cheese on a tortilla? Interesting. And the 20 taco platter is to go only that was the only reason we went but the to go on the side was half wiped off so we didn’t see that. Wouldn’t you want to drum up business and offer that for dine in?
