Classic selection of canned and bottled beers, free and delicious movie theater popcorn, and various live music sets depending on the day (I enjoyed the monthly Blues night on Sunday). Back Forty Saloon is a great spot to hang, listen to music, and meet friends!

Been coming for years. Was there Monday evening and left my coat. My bad. And of course it disappeared. All I know that would never happen at any other Manteno establishment. Thanks a lot. As I was earlier that evening telling the owner what a nice establishment it was. Well guess what!!! No more!!! Peace out

On 11/11 Had to wait 10 minutes to get my drink. People were being served that got to the bar after us and we were just sitting there without being acknowledged or talked to. I understand a bar can get busy and we wait, but they could’ve at least said we will be right with you or something of that nature of hi. We got nothing. This was also the night of a fight and the bartenders were just letting it happen without kicking them out. Which drove us out of the bar before it got too bad. They were relying on the people around them to handle the situation. Worst experience ever, and never going back.

Mold! As soon as you walk in you can smell the mold and mildew. The water was leaking from the ceiling and all over the floor. The table tops were sticky with old beer/drinks I assumed. Just run down and dirty. I think it just needs a good updating!

Place was very nice. The bartender kept up with our drinks. The place was very busy. Great DJ. He played very good music. He had people dancing.
