You just cannot beat a meal at Yannis. Such an adorable quaint cafe. Beautifully decorated. The best owners and staff. Quick, hot and delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I live away now, but I never miss an opportunity to stop in for a bite to eat when I’m in town. There isn’t a restaurant that can beat the taste, portions, staff, or prices ANYWHERE. I talk about Yannis where I live now, saying there should be a Yannis everywhere!
Cream of chicken soup w rice was bland, fried chicken was flavorful but too much breading and some of it was still doughy, corned beef hash was ok as well as poached eggs and as crazy as it sounds I didn't really care for pancakes. Just ok. Friendly people, quaint establishment.
I refused to believe my girlfriend when she said this is the best breakfast spot. But my goodness...
The biscuits and gravy with a poached egg on EACH biscuit?????? C'mon. That was destiny for me. I was born to eat that. I demolished it with no regard for the life around me. I wasn't even hungover.
