One of my favorite places to grab a drink and food at! Have yet to meet a bartender that wasn't kind, helpful, and relatable! Definitely worth a place to check out.

Had a great experience as Lodi was set up at Kaneland HS today after a small marching band performance. The crew working was very friendly and the cheeseburgers were fresh and tasty!

What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious. We got the cheese curds and a couple of burgers and everything hit the spot. Love that they have ice cream pops for dessert. Brittany, thank you for the best service we’ve had in months. Love the IL suburban and Chicago beer picks as well. 11/10 will be back!

Served their famous cheese curds as appetizers. The kids meal came with a large chocolate chip cookie ?

Camping for the holiday weekend with cruddy weather we decided to stop for a beer at Lodi’s. We had Toby as a waiter and it was absolutely a great experience. Everything he recommended was fabulous from the beer to the apps. He even walked in the rain across the street to serve us under the roof because we had the dogs. Highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance. If you’re lucky enough to get Toby tell him hi from the crazy group that brought grandma to drink.

Love Lodi in Maple Park! If you’re tired of the same old “bar” food this is the place to go! They put their own culinary twist to foods. EVERYTHING is yummy. And they have a great selection of beers. All the bartenders/servers are very friendly, make you feel really welcome. And they’re all quite knowledgeable about their beers. I highly recommend this place instead of the usual hum drum. Shout out to bartenders Stevie, Monica & Brittany for all the fun and great beer/food. Always great to see ALL of you! We LOVE being Mug Club Members!

Smashburger soup is everything you want it to be. Staff was professional in the event of being understaffed. Would return if visiting Afton Park again.

Today we hiked ALL of the trails at Starved Rock State Park and upon completion of our trek we were absolutely famished. There was no real plan for how or where to refuel so we looked into the local fare. Lodi Taproom has got to be THE place to serve trail weary patrons. My wife was in dire need of a chicken sandwich, I know this because she expressed this sentiment at our 8 mile mark and just about every 1/2 a mile afterwards so I had to try and deliver. This establishment brought it! Along with house cooked French fries that were remarkable. We didn’t start with our amazing sandwiches though, for starters we had the cheese curds which were expertly fried in pub style batter and sprinkled with fresh green onions and served with a side of (I assume) a chipotle/ mayo secret sauce. We washed that down with ice cold micro brews that they had on tap, which were poured from railroad spike handled taps and listed on an industrial sign winched to the ceiling with a 1500 pound hoist. For my meal, the main reason I am reviewing this place I had a sandwich that changed my expectations of smash burger creations from here forward. It is currently the burger of the month but it should be a staple signature. I don’t often delight in burgers but this was greasy spoon ingenuity and excellence. Toasted bun, smash burger patty, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and then pub style onion rings. All the ingredients were premium perfection. I cannot express enough how satisfying the meal was. Even if you’re not going hiking and you’re just looking for a great meal a short distance from I-80 this is a place you must stop. Shut the orange front door(after you enter for your feast of course).

Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food during a non busy time. Needless to say very disappointed with service and won’t be going back again anytime soon, especially for the cost and service received.
What happened to the food at this place? The fries used to be homemade and amazing! Now the fries are out of a freezer bag. The buttermilk brined chicken sandwich used to be delicious, and now it’s nothing. Seems like they don’t care about their food anymore. I wouldn’t go for the food, nice drink selection though.
